    Display screen delaminating?

I just noticed this on the Model S screen above the steering wheel. Around the edges of the display you can see an irregular line. Is this delamination, normal wear and tear or has it always been there?

Model 3 LR on First Road Trip With Autopilot

I got the chance to drive on a trip from Dallas, Tx to Conway, AR ( North of Little Rock, AR) in my wife’s M3 LR (2018.36.2.ac4a215) last weekend. Some comments: Autopilot: My first opportunity to use the autopilot on a trip. Generally, it worked well and lowered my workload while driving...

Is cabin under heat protection next?

I'm enjoying the cabin overheat protection during a hot Dallas summer. Is it likel that a similar feature will be created to keep the cabin from falling below 35F? The same issues would be addressed (protest kids, pets, electronics, etc.). In cold climes this issue must have some import....

4 year old Model S: what does the future hold?

My model S is getting close to 4 years old . I love the car and plan on keeping it, but I find myself wondering about long-term reliability. Are there any longer term/high mileage owners out there that with any experiences that they would like share? I have a 2014 MS 60 with 38K miles, BTW.

Why no 40 amp charging option?

    How often do you charge?

I've noticed that many people describing their thought processes surrounding why they are choosing the standard or long range battery mention how many times per week they feel it's necessary to charge their Teslas. I've had some non-Tesla owners say to me things like, "you have to charge every...

Model S: not driveable, "Car Off" indicator displayed

Last night I was leaving the gym. I got into my model S, put my foot on the brake and moved the gear selector: nothing happened. Everything looked normal: lights on, A/C on, stereo on, etc. but the car didn't move. I tried rebooting the displays, tried turning on the car via the phone app...

    Windshield replacement options

A freak accident: the tennis ball hanging from my garage ceiling got caught in the door. When I shuut the door it pulled the screw in the ceiling Sheetrock with enough force so that when it hit the corner of the windshield it caused a ten inch crack. I called the local Tesla service center and...
