    Source for Bilstein coil struts?

Couldn't find a definitive answer here (although I suspect it's "no") - is there a supplier for just the coil struts on an MS? All four of mine need replacement, and the SC quoted $1000 per corner. These appear to have Bilstein part number, but also seem unobtainable. No?

Switching from wifi to 3g unreliable

I'm wondering what the trick is to get my MCU1 to switch from wifi to 3g -- it seems very random. I park in a place where there is no 3g, but two blocks away I have three bars -- when I arrive at work. But when I leave from work after being wifi-connected all day, sometimes it will find a 3g...

New owner of 2014 S 85 with dumb questions

First post, I’ve had my well-used 2014 Model S for a total of 5 days. Mine is very much a base model, but it’s unclear to me what that means in terms of features (or their lack). For example, there is a “passive entry” option, but I can’t figure out what it does - it does not unlock the car or...
