Separate names with a comma.
I believe it was redundant harness for steering control, new better forward facing radar, and different filter on the cameras.
Looking at those sentry video, I personally don't know why Tesla would change the cameras on AP2 cars. It's not a radical difference from AP2.5...
Is the backup camera dark at night?
That's one thing I like about my MCU1/AP2. Rear cam is much more visible than on MCU2 cars with AP2.5
Sounds like there is no camera upgrade, as others were thinking.
I have a 2016 with standard sound so I might be interested in purchasing depending on price, and if you decide to not put them in.
I've been cold called plenty of times by Tesla.
They do it all the time so I'm not surprised.
Been cold called for both the Model 3 and solar.
I haven't seen any 12kw level 2 stations in the US. It's always either 3.3 or 6.6kW.
Some 21kwh Energicas have already been delivered here....
When the SR/S was launched I thought "meh..."
But in person it looks fantastic.

Shipping should still be open actually.
This is on 2020.12
This is why a maps first approach is not safe nor reliable.
I assume it's labelled as a traffic light in the map.
What's stopping them from updating the website?
They are updating other parts of it.
Website still says late March for AP2.
They have 3 days.. unless its late March 2021.
Exactly. I wish they could have at least made in not stop at green lights. I guess their confidence in the system is so low, that wasn't an option.
If anything, they should remove free supercharging for the virus.
Also, it requires latest maps and may not stop for all traffic controls.
So it will be map based, and may miss a light, stop sign, or two. No...
Well, we got a description from Tesla.
Honestly, this sounds outright dangerous.

They have this in the lights on the strip in Vegas for example. It would be a herculean effort to make sure all lights in the country are equipped...
Currently, in my neighborhood, we have a blinking yellow light.
With the latest .12 firmware, the red light warning goes off every time I pass...
Hasn't Tesla been running "Shadow Mode" for all our drives?
That is what it seems like, but that also makes this "FSD" feature completely useless.
It's more effort to monitor Tesla's FSD + drive the car...
Wow $3K for a MCU1!!
Sweet. Now your car can drive itself. Congratulations!
I think mine is better. I have a situation in my driveway where it wants to auto park into a fence. That said, autopark has actually been pretty...
The seat slides back to the Easy Entry profile when you hit park.
The seat then slides to your profile when you hit the brakes after getting...
.12 is a dumpster fire on my AP2 car.
Constant phantom braking.
Today I got a red light warning while passing a blinking yellow too.
Supposedly. We'll see what actually happens though.
That's exactly why the regulation just says "station". Because you do not need a license.
No provision of these rules prevents the use by a...

I don't know about that.

$23 Baofeng works completely fine.
You don't need a license in an emergency.
The right thing to do is to carry a $25 ham radio in your car so you have an actual two-way means of communication in case of such an emergency.
If you find a good service center in the Bay Area, let me know.
As I said in another thread, if I get the car back less broken than when I...
Not needed on Tesla.
Just buy FSD and use your phone as much as you want since the car drives itself.
Exactly what I was thinking.
When will we be at or near low?
$440 to replace a 12V battery is pretty absurd. That quote seems to imply that it's over an hour of labor, which is not true.
Agree. Just like in the Cadillac system.
And offer retrofit to MS and MX owners. Would gladly pay.
Have you ever been in a LS?
Its way quieter than a Tesla.
Now that I think about it my last service was the worst one.

Must be a deep cover.
Nice try. OP probably works at a service center.
It's not available for AP2. Tesla says late March.
Is AP2/MCU1 still supposed to happen late this month? Or late this month Elon time?
It's a bit concerning that we're already in the middle of the...
If the CT takes up two plugs are a Supercharger, that will piss everybody off. I doubt they will do that.
At that price it better be an MCU2. I would verify first.
They refused to do mine under warranty and wanted to charge me $600 for the fix.
FSD works exactly the same on MCU1 and MCU2. It has nothing to do with the MCU.
I think they only way for them to actually see the bug report is asking the SC to pull it from the car. Otherwise, nothing gets sent to Tesla....
The bug report stays on your car anyway. Who cares?
