I have a SolarEdge SE3800H inverter that is rated for 3.8kw max AC output. Most of the time it stays below this and clips at 3.8kw as expected. But today I saw it go to 4.0kw before clipping. Anyone else observe this behavior? Is my unit faulty, leading to premature failure?

What's the tipping etiquette for solar installers, contractors, and other work of that type? I know movers expect to be tipped.

PGE will not accept new signups for EV-A rate starting July 1st. Anybody know what the replacement rate plan will be? Anyone on the EV-A plan with solar. Is it worth it to switch to EV-A before it is discontinued to be grandfathered? How long is the grandfathering?
