    If you use scheduled departure and then immediately drive off some of the charge so that you arrive at work with with <55%, then your car's battery will not be spending a lot of time in the "higher degradation" state of charge range.

    Obviously, you were following too closely, because you were unable to avoid hitting an object that was unmasked by the vehicle in front changing lanes. If the object were something like a stopped vehicle, the result could have been much worse.

    A peak of 170kW does not mean that charge rate will be sustained for long. As a practical matter, I have typically seen an average of 100-110kW when Supercharging from around 10% to 50-60% with a preconditioned (heated) battery.

    Anyone try AC Delco (GM) wiper blades? I had a GM car once whose original wiper blades were good for 4+ years, much longer than those of other cars (including Tesla Model 3) that became worse enough after 2 years to need replacement.

    Regarding OEM tires, I saw a new 2024 Model 3 (Highland) with Michelin Primacy tires on it. The tires did not have MXM4 on them, and did have a T0 mark on them. This in addition to a previously seen 2024 Model 3 (Highland) with Hankook Ventus S1 AS tires on it.

    One of the photos shows Leviton on the receptacle. If it is the common 279-S00 with half size contacts to the plug blades, it is best to replace it with a receptacle with full size brass contacts.

    At less than 2,000 miles per year, perhaps the car spent a lot of time parked at a high state of charge (>55% for an NCA battery like a 2019 SR+ has)? I.e. if the customer habitually charged it every day to 80% and drove <10 miles per day so that the car normally does not get below about 75%...

    | Tesla says that E = Li-Ion Battery and F = Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery. However, a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery is a type of Li-Ion battery, so either E or F could be literally correct for an LFP battery.

    That would not be unusual. Bypassing the lemon law(suit) process when repurchasing a "lemon" vehicle costs less than going through the lemon law(suit) process where lawyers also get paid. So if the car falls under the state lemon law, the vehicle company has some incentive to make a repurchase...
