saw a mustang ev on road today- YUKKKK what a disgrace to mustang!

You are not an outlier. We have a Y. It is not great looking. And SO is still not getting used to the shape either. It's a stretched model 3 in height. Not as sleek looking as S or 3.

BEWARE: Taptes Model Y Floor Mats

I bought taptes model y trunk mats, not floor mats. The fit is terrible with gaps. The material also looks thin. Their reviews on the site are perfect. I don’t trust this brand at all now.

Test drove the Model Y, Model 3 and the Mach E back to back to back, yesterday

Mach-E is so much cheaper than MY. The battery pack is close 100 kWh, much more than MY too. How does Ford make the pricing so good?

    The Y rear is ugly

The ass is ugly. Agreed and well said.

    Tesla Service on new Y

This kind of reply borders on stupidity and insult. OP has every right to spend whatever on a single car, which should perform as any new car is expected. The QA problems Tesla has ought to be called out and Tesla need shape up. A car need be dependable period.

    MY’s shape kinda wierd

I have one on order but am thinking of changing to X after the battery day. Have a M3 already and need an SUV. The Few Y’s I have seen (red, blur, and white) on the road look just kinda wierd, white being the most normal looking. The feeing is best described as basically stretching M3...

    Whipping a dead horse

I have a relatively new SR, basically a forced 90%-range copy of SR+; totally understand OP’s thought process. I think mine does even worse on the mile/battery-percent. I Have basically resigned to the fact the car is a short-range commute car and need be charged frequently. Once you have a...

    Upgrade from SR to SR+

I asked my advisor who sold me the SR. She just checked and came back with 5k to upgrade to SR+. No reduction yet. I am in the Bay Area.

Model Y - the dirty dozen

Wholeheartedly agree. You made the right choice.

    2019 M3 SR+ with FSD/HW3 in White $38,500

That is a fantastic price. I am in CA, and would buy this used given how much tax I'd pay buying new w/ FSD etc.

Newish 2020 SR, Inconsistent Wh/Mi and actual miles driven

To ucmndd, thanks for the perspective. What I learned is that Tesla's range #s are wildly optimistic and cannot be trusted for real-life driving. I appreciate other members' confirmations like yours. Thank you. Yes, I hate the discrepancy and lack of usefulness on wh/mi #s, but love other...

Newish 2020 SR, Inconsistent Wh/Mi and actual miles driven

This is OP. Just finished a longer trip with one stop for few hours (120 miles from 76% to 11%) AC on always. during the 2-3 hr stop, we used sentry mode but the percentage did not dip much at all. The trip meter shows 233Wh/mi. So, real miles translates to about 186miles for 100% charge...

Newish 2020 SR, Inconsistent Wh/Mi and actual miles driven

One stop local driving (to and from work) for the 14 miles each day. about the same 220wh/wi on the drives. Rebooted the car last week. I check the app maybe 4-5 times a day. The latest software version: 2020.12.11.1

Newish 2020 SR, Inconsistent Wh/Mi and actual miles driven

Under 500 miles right now. The "energy" graph in the car shows average 220wh/mi. But the car drops 10% battery each day for about 14 miles driven on local roads each day. AC is always on. But we are in the Bay Area and it's warm out here. Puzzled on why the inconsistency: 220 wh/mi...
