Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

As the last living 18th century English liberal, I look with bemusement at the last several score pages in this thread. Could we start the weekend early? How about when retiring, should dividend paying stocks be considered in adjusting your portfolio? Or, I see Tesla opened green.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Trying to get back on track, I got up this morning to even more positive Tesla articles than yesterday. Are the powers that be pushing Tesla up for their own reasons? Nothing about Tesla financials supports the current price level, yet I’m beginning to believe somebody wants to revisit the $400s.

I’ve run across a few articles in business news, or possible the same article repurposed, this morning saying a Trump administration would be good for Tesla. Seems odd to me, or am I missing something?

    Dead 2013 Tesla S

When my car bricked, Tesla’s tow truck just drug it up. No damage to tires. If you don’t want black marks on drive, just ask for a dolly truck.

[ buying according to your beliefs or experiences is not uncommon. I knew people who wouldn’t buy Fords because of Henry. Also more who would never buy any German or Japanese car because ofWW2.

I hope it works as well on my S. At the moment it can’t even make it out of my subdivision. Also, it’s back to phantom braking on the interstate. Tesla looked at the car and don’t see what causes the problem. However, I’m happy for your success.

I partially agree with you youngsters. Having had to experience 6 years of long term life care for a wife with dementia, I can assure you that the potential oh shucks are always just around the corner. Almost anything negative that happens late in life is mind blowingly expensive. For most of us...

Hmmmmm…… sales of S and X must have been really bad. Maybe they will change the trim on some back to bright so I can order one before they drop them completely. I hate to see them just wasting away.

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

On a trip from Palm Bay to Cape Coral instead of turning on Fl70 from I95, it wanted to go 2 miles further, take a two lane road that eventually connected to 70. Would have added miles and time to the trip. Then it saw 30 miles of 70 as 55 not 65, which is the limit. In Okeechobee it wanted to...

There is a UTube channel called Ray and Zack that deals with car sales. Yesterday they were talking about Ford and the drop in sales. F150 market share down 22%. They were checking Mach E and Lightning sales around country, and Mach E averaged a 3 YEAR Supply af cars to sales! Lightning was...

All that may be, but the numbers just don’t work out for me and Gator. For starters we can’t expect that longevity as roofs need frequent replacing — often at the insistence of the insurance company. Then there are hurricanes. Add in that we can buy solar power from FPL and the incentive...

Ok, I would like to ask the many experts here a question related to part of the current discussion. How do you define AI? To a doofus who read way too much Asimov in the 40s and 50s, I think of AI as being sentient. When Mr Musk said that he had realized that when Tesla had solved FSD, they...

Besides, you can buy solar power from FPL. Tesla wants over $100,000 to put a solar roof on and $70 plus just for panels and batteries for my house. That won’t pay back ever here. Buying solar from a company makes more sense here. Babcock Ranch is a small town entirely solar powered by FPL.
