    Supercharger - Whitney Point, NY

We visited both sites before Cortland went online. When we visited Cortland it was complete including power to the meter. Whitney point looked just like the last picture posted. It needs work to be completed by the power company.

    Supercharger - Whitney Point, NY

There is NO transformer. Until it is installed and wired to the grid it is unlikely it will be turned on. The person that coordinated with the power company was probably fired by Musk.

    Supercharger - Whitney Point, NY

Stopped by yesterday to check progress. Looks like a V4 install. That concrete pad is where the transformer goes. Conduit is in place to the pole but cables have not been run from pole to transformer.

    Supercharger - Cortland, NY

When I looked at the meter it read zero. I just noticed it must have flipped to the installation date when I took the picture. Also notice time of use(TOU) is checked on the meter.

    Supercharger - Cortland, NY

Stopped by yesterday and took some pictures. Installation looks complete including usage on the meters but still no power to the stalls.

That would be Richmond Highway if you re looking at road signs.

Supercharger - Woodbridge, VA - Richmond Hwy

I have been following supercharge.info for years to track supercharger installs. There have been NO updates since May 19th. I think Mr. Musk has broken the system, hopefully not permanently.

Supercharger - Woodbridge, VA - Richmond Hwy

Those lines do not look correct, at least for charging a Tesla

So it appears these pedastals have a longer cable. That would allow them to connect to non Tesla vehicles , correct?

Tesla.com/findus is showing Hilliard as live, 12 at 250

Supercharger - Columbus, OH - Hilliard Rome Road

One observation is that all the superchargers in the Columbus area are 150kw. Hilliard will be the first 250kw.

Supercharger - Sun City Center, FL

Wow, about time! That looks like it is set up to accomodate trailers?

    Supercharger - Ellenton, FL

I can’t think of who will use this one. It is well removed from the closest store and not easy to get to from I75. One would not want to plug in and shop since you would at most charge for 50 minutes or so and then start accumulating idle fees.

Supercharger - Columbus, OH - Hilliard Rome Road

Interesting that there is a transformer in place. Usually the sites are activated soon after the transformer is placed. Is there a meter installed?
  21. jrreno

    Supercharger - Bethel Park, PA

It’s on the Tesla.com/findus page which means it probably shows up on the Nav map in the car.

    Supercharger - Bethel Park, PA

Pictures taken on 11/3. I wonder if there is a transformer shortage due to hurricane Ian?
  24. jrreno

    Supercharger - Ellenton, FL

It didn’t have a transformer last time we checked. The power companies have other things on their minds right now. I doubt if new builds are getting much attention. So yeah, Ian impacted.

Supercharger - Woodbridge, VA - Richmond Hwy

Note that they are in the process of changing the name of the road from Jefferson Davis to Richmond Highway. ( for obvious reasons)

A couple pictures from today 9/26. Transformer pad and charger cabinets in place. Pedestal concrete and conduits in place. No wiring yet. No activity at the site.

Supercharger - Big Pine Key, FL

why do the lines look like they’re floating and have shadows?
  29. jrreno

    Supercharger - Ellenton, FL

So there appear to be 16 Tesla stalls and as you can see the transformer has not yet been placed nor has the meter been installed. So we’re waiting for the electric company ( Teco or FPL?)

Supercharger - Big Pine Key, FL

Swung by there on our way back from Key West. No visible work that we could see, not even any utility marker flags. BTW , Marathon was busy both Southbound ( Tuesday, afternoon) and Northbound( Friday, morning)

MarcoRP, So this is the zoning action , is there an online permit tracking for this town? I think that would be the next logical step in the process.

Supercharger - Sarasota, FL - Clark Road

In the picture you can see trenching to hook up the primary to the transformer and secondary wires from the cabinet. Also notice the area that was dirt in the parking spaces has been paved.

Supercharger - Ocala, FL - W. Silver Springs Blvd

Were the pedestals lighted? Also you can see if the meter has a display, ie; power is on.

Just an update, when we were at the Magic Kingdom a month ago the Chargepoints that had been broken were all replaced with new units. Got there at 10am and were able to plug in.

Supercharger - Sarasota, FL - Clark Road

As of today 4/25/2022, looks like the stations are all wired, SC cabinets in place and meter mount in place. Still no pad for the transformer and no transformer. I think the parking area will require new pavement since the area immediately in front of the stations is backfilled dirt.

Supercharger - Sarasota, FL - Clark Road

So for travelers on I-75 this is going to be somewhat inconvenient. The WaWa is very close to I-75. Access off I-75 will be relatively simple. Unfortunately getting back on I-75 will not be. Options are: 1. Take a right turn onto Clark Road ( left is not available) and make a Uturn at Honore or...

Supercharger - Sarasota, FL - Clark Road

In the upper left , outside the fence, one can see the pipes sticking out of the ground where the transformer will be placed. Just below that is the concrete pad where the SC. cabinets will be installed. The SC cabinets are in the white boxes on the lower right.
  43. jrreno

Supercharger - Sarasota, FL - Clark Road

I just drove by today. They are installing the pedestals. The base for the transformer is not in place yet. The base for the SC cabinets is in place but cabinets are not installed yet. I’ll try to add some more pictures this week. I don’t like to take pics when workers are present.

So two pictures from today. One of the more unique installations I've seen. Looks like the transformer will be out side the current construction fence. At least there is some progress.
