    More Price Cut(s)?

Exactly... its one of the most common repeated and hated questions on Tesla FB groups... How much do you pay for your Tesla insurance? 🤦‍♂️ All you get by asking is a random listings of every carrier and random numbers, none of which will match your own personal variables. I'm in a fairly...

FWD hits roof after 2024.14.6 update

I'm on 2024.15.15 now since July 10th (came from 2024.14.9) and yet to have the FWD's or trunk act up since so guess there's a bug fix in there somewhere. 🤞

Tsportline sells 5mm Hubcentric... likely somebody else's product just rebranded so might be able to find the same ones cheaper. https://tsportline.com/collections/tesla-model-x-wheel-tire-accessories/products/tesla-model-s-5mm-spacer-set-set-of-2?variant=44848810656033

FWD hits roof after 2024.14.6 update

You pointing out the Automatic Set Speed Offset? It's under your Autopilot menu settings, been there since at least version 2024.14.9 for me. 🤷‍♂️ It auto adjusts speed limits based on street markings as well as traffic and road volume as it sees fit...

    Automatic Doors Getting Fixed!

UPDATE: Went from 2024.14.9 to 2024.15.15 (FSD v12.4.3) yesterday and the doors FINALLY open wide! Thought this was only part of the 2024.20 series, nothing in the release notes of 15.15 about it but the doors open 60-degrees as promised. 🙂...

Vibration on brand new Model X at about 38mph to 60mph

Manual says only to worry about it in High or Very High... obviously not the full story.
  9. NJturtlePower

At what speed does the Air Suspension automatically change to "Very Low"

Any refresh X alignment should be done in "Low" as it is the default and standard suspension setting. NOTE: Even new and non-modified X's should be checked within a few months because they have notoriously bad Toe settings that will eat your tires just as quick as the excess Camber.

Show off your aftermarket Model X wheels...

Personally I wouldn't run any wheel or spacer that is not hub centric. Just more chances to introduce balancing and vibration issues IMO. Also depending on the centering ring material (aluminum or steel) you can have issues of them sticking to the hubs or wheels and breaking off during...

No Auto-shift beta or Parking Assist after 2024.14.9

    HW4 = 5MP cameras HW3 = 1.2MP cameras So yeah, that's definitely one of the most noticeable changes IMO. I had HW2.5 and HW3 on previous Model 3's before coming to my HW4 2023 Model X. https://teslatap.com/model-x-2021-comparisons/

    X Frunk is stuck!

I'll say I've been an owner since 2018 with Model 3's and Mobile Service has always been great, efficient and on time.... Service Center visits are a whole different animal. 🤦‍♂️ Not all bad but it's like rolling the dice each time. 🤞 Frunk latching if that's your only issue should be...

    X Frunk is stuck!

Mine has been sticking since I picked it up new in November. If I don't lift up on it as I press the Open button it does not properly unlatch. Been meaning to put in a service request, but since I don't use the Frunk much I've just been putting it off.

Vendor Imfamouns Tire Wear Solution!! (2021+ Model S LR/ Plaid ) w/ EVPE shims

Obviously they want to sell more product while putting the responsibility on the owner to DIY a half-baked close enough blind adjustment. You just going to assume its balanced and within spec before adjustment? Spend the $200 or less on an alignment with any tire shop chain and get it done...

Vendor Imfamouns Tire Wear Solution!! (2021+ Model S LR/ Plaid ) w/ EVPE shims

ANY suspension modification requires an alignment...Period! Anyone who says it doesnt is just uninformed or lying (trying to sell more product). The factory alignment on many Tesla has been proven to be horrible even BEFORE any modifications... And again, Toe settings out of spec will eat your...

    Model X: Average Wh/mile Tracker

Turn on Cabin Overheat Protection if you like, just know it’s purpose is to prevent hot car deaths (kids and pets) but absolutely not needed for the vehicle as stated clearly in the manual. Hankook ion Evo AS on a MXP?

Humm those (Hankook Ventus iON AX) must be a discontinued tire, guessing last (or earlier) generation Ion lineup. 🤷‍♂️ Don't see them listed under the current Ventus or Ion lineups, but did find that seller on eBay. ✅ You running a square or staggered setup...

Why you should skip the powered frunk and grab a Satonic soft close frunk

Same boat here.... was fully set on doing the full powered frunk originally, then was looking hard at the soft close, now I think neither will be worth the money, time or effort. 🤷‍♂️ Had my X for about 7-months now and I would say I use the frunk about 1-3 times a month so far... for that...

RFE UI Shortcut for Disconnecting Charge Cable

Well yeah, that's true.... typical forum post with only 20% of the details listed or clearly communicated. For Tesla to integrate with every type of non-Tesla charger out there, using an adapter or not is silly and would be a huge waste of their resources. Thus my recommendation... just use...

Use a Tesla branded charger... problem solved! ✅ I've been running a simple Tesla UMC at 32A on a NEMA 14-50 socket that came free with my 2018 Model 3 to this day, now on my Model X...never needed anything more.

Anyone Exercise their Tire Warranty Before Successfully? Michelin?

#1 NO, most tire specs I've ever checked cut the treadwear mileage warranty in HALF if in a staggered setup as the Model X is LR or Plaid. Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 Example screenshot 👀 #2 Most OEM tires are EXEMPT from any treadwear warranties.....check the warranty doc fine print...

    Retrofit new 2024 steering wheel

Turn Signal Buttons have not been a huge issue/concern of mine since delivery Nov. 2023, but for sure the Horn Button off-center sucks. Would love to have an option to swap it (currently round wheel) at no cost, maybe even "upgrade" to the Yoke if possible sooooo.... Report filed as well! ✅

FWD hits roof after 2024.14.6 update

Sooo maybe I spoke too soon.... 🚨 STAY VIGILANT GUYS!!! Got 14.9 back on June 11th, even installed some pool noodles prior but all has been well and as as expected... Today, and luckily I was ready for it, drivers side FWD shot up way quicker than normal in the garage and if it wasn't for me...

Is there a limit in how many software updates you can install in one day?

No limit, but personally I've never seen more than one update in a day on any Tesla since 2018. Especially older hardware builds, your updates will become few and far between and nobody gets every update anyways, there are often full series skips.

MXP -Latest software update 2024.14.9 causing falcon door/ rear trunk sensors to not work

Me neither... Prepared for it with some pool noodles even. First time parking inside I opened them ready to put my hand up and nothing... same as usual. Stopped conservatively low as usual, both side, multiple tries over 2-days now. 🤷‍♂️ 2023 Model X LR (HW4 w/ FSD v12 subscription currently) ✅

    Lucid Air vs. MS?

For me this is a non-issue because I typically only keep vehicles for 3-5 years. Tesla Model 3 owner (also had a 19' Performance 3) since 2018 and now and X. That said, as much as I like the higher luxury build and features like massage seats of the Lucid I would not be interested in any...

No Auto-shift beta or Parking Assist after 2024.14.9

Added Tesla Vision Park Assist is only for vehicles WITH USS + MCU3 in the US. 👀 Auto Shift Beta should be there in 2024.14.9, but I just got the update the other day on my 2023 Model X LR (HW4/ non-USS) and not seeing it myself. Still only have the Auto Shift Out of Park Beta option. 🤷‍♂️...

    Model X: Average Wh/mile Tracker

Both examples seem pretty high for 20's unless you're driving it hard daily and/or up big hills. Might want to check your tire pressure and especially alignment...out of spec toe settings will chew your tires up and add tons of drag to your efficiency.

    Wheel Spacers on Model X

Mine are flexible at the bottom as well... I scrape them regularly leaving my driveway if I go too slow in my normal "Low" ride height. That is something to consider for sure with the Rally Armor ones which are ridged, just not sure how low they hang overall. They cover much more in the upper...

    Wheel Spacers on Model X

I'm actually considering the pricey/premium Rally Armor flaps now that the front tire really extends past most of the upper flap area. Maybe just running the fronts overall since the rears don't do much for you...just limit spray for others behind you...

What "latest update"? 2024.14.9 or 2024.20.1? The auto doors were updated as part of 20.1, but many of us just got 14.9 yesterday after being stuck on 2024.8.9 since April. Turn ON Auto doors for sure, there is an option to not open when at Home if you pass it often in the garage for example.
