Unrelated, but I found that Ionity have a site coming in Alnwick....
Been checking planning permission site, but I have not found anything yet. Anyone spotted anything? I have heard Q1 for opening.
Would they? In the 2 years i have had the car, they have never forced an update.
"August" means september, very late august at best.
I would say it's best to just delete this thread and create a new one :D
They 100% do. My S75 is limited to 83kW
It's a fancy car alarm
Feel for the rest of us on 2018.50.6!
From comparing the release notes for Sentry Mode on AP2.0 and AP2.5 (tesla_raj on Twitter) it seems like we won't be able to access the video from...
Your car will still need to be staged for the updates. This is not "on demand".
Not for Model 3 i assume.
Hopefully this rolls out for Model S/X soon too. Still sitting on 2018.50.6...
Does anyone have any info on why AP2.0 is so far behind right now? I know they were making huge changes to communications between systems in MCU1...
2019.5.14 seems to be rollig out to AP2.5 only atm
I don't see the point?
A few people are noticing that Spotify is much more stable in this update. No longer locking up when selecting an album.
Do you have AP2.5?
Well, given that MCU3 is not a thing, i suspect they are joking :D
And what about the browser? Can that go on top of music?
So music is always on the bottom, no matter what?
I have music + maps open all the time, so it's perfect for me, but just want to clarify for others.
There is no way they are going to "fix" that any time soon, it was a design decision. The amount of people complaining is also tiny in the grand...
Awesome post @jimmy_d. Thanks
Because Tesla's point of view is that the car should just park itself, you should not need to know what is around you. Obviously that takes time,...
I find this funny. People like you would be the first to complain if Tesla didn't fix bugs.
Lots of UK cars just started downloading. Some over 5gb now, which suggests maps.
You have to share from another app. So open Google maps, and then find a location, then click share, and select the Tesla app. Like this [MEDIA]...
Are those pictures from an AP1 car? Interesting that AP1 is getting obstacle aware acceleration too. That is awesome.
US and Canada only. Rest of world in "a few weeks"
Thanks. Really hope the Obstacle Aware Acceleration is 2.0 too, as Electrek and other release notes disagree on which cars it supports.
Are you AP2.5 or 2.0?
He has said this for years?
They normally can, but they may not have it available to push yet.
Congrats! Where are you based, and what car do you have?
And even if you are on 36.2, they may just be reinstalling it. I got a notification at 2am when my car was in the SC, and it was just reinstalling...
My car doesnt have wifi, so i put my phone in there over night with tethering enabled. I will be patient once i get v9, i promise!
Sure, but how do you know specifically .39 is the final release? Generally odd build numbers are early access only.
How do you know it's the general release?
I would not get too excited. Customer service reps are not normally informed before we are about releases.
No. They were able to download it. A lot of people monitor network traffic to their cars, so we would know if there was a mass download by now.
The comment above it I assume
I had more phantom breaking on AP1 on a route route i do all the time on AP2... i think it really just depends on many factors.
Think how we outside the US feel! We didn't even have the chance of getting it at all.
I had a AP1 loaner last week. Even on motorways, it was so unsure of itself. Kept moving towards lorries. It really fails when there is not a...
I have mobile service coming on Tuesday. I hope they can do it!
There is 0% change of that happening sadly. It does not have enough cameras to start with.
It could also just be a way for them to limit the rollout for now, but allow them to roll 9.0 out to everyone.
I imagine a lot of us have been :D
Has been :) really good video.
I don't think that was ever a specified feature, was it?
Yeah that makes sense.
