Separate names with a comma.
They are valid options and should work. In fact I just retried and they work as expected. For frunk, you might to say "open front trunk" since...
Please try again. It should work now.
One of the endpoints was down. It should not be related to the software update. Please try again and let me know if you still see issues.
Hi, do you have any reference to a website that explains how token handling has changed? Currently the tokens expire after 30 to 45 days. (Not 15...
I'm not sure about the first part of the question. It might have invalidated old tokens when I turned on 2FA. I just assumed the old token had...
Tesla had again blocked requests from services such as AWS. Might be related to that.
I enable 2FA on my account and the APIs continued working as before. Doesn't seem like there is any change on that front right now.
I just tried it out and there it works as is. If Tesla does make a change to the APIs in the future, I hope they introduce long-lived tokens so...
Sorry I had been away and did not realize this was down. I've put the proxy back in place. Should work now.
This should be working now. I've put proxy server in place that bounces connections off a server outside of Amazon AWS.
No that does not help. Tesla is still blocking all calls from Amazon, which is where this is hosted. I am working on a workaround.
FYI: Seems like Tesla is once again blocking requests from Amazon AWS so this skill is not working right now. If this is not a short term issue...
I see that with my app too, and echo your sentiments. API requests form AWS fail but they do work from other networks.
Looks like calls from Amazon AWS are failing. They seem to be working from other endpoints. This had happened before a couple of years ago. Hope...
The action has been re-instated. Let me know if you still see issues.
The Google Assistant version should be up now.
Thanks. I posted about this in the Google specific thread Integration with Google Home / Google Assistant - Now available for general use . Google...
Thanks for the offer. It's been submitted for review so its just wait-and-watch right now. Hopefully they don't come up with "new" reasons for...
"takedown" because a privacy link was invalid. I guess it'll have to go though the whole approval cycle again before it is restored.
... and the Google Home did start the action. For good measure I did Unlink and try also.
I just tried this and work fine for sending to a Google Home and Phones on account.
Glad you are enjoying the skill. Thanks for the offer but no donation is required :)
Its been working fine for me. If it can't reach Google at all it could be a network or Google issue. Do other Home Assistant commands work fine...
Model S thread had become the defacto "general" Tesla category when this thread was created. Not sure if things have changed since then.
I just verified again - once the skill is enabled, you can say "open my car" and then issue commands one after another till you say "Cancel". Or...
Good memory. I started with E.V. Car, some people wanted an easier to use name so I tried using My Tesla. That had issues with Trademark...
Works with multiple cars. Just say "switch cars" to switch between them.
Thanks to @RTPEV for patiently helping triage the issue. The 3 does seem to go into a deeper sleep state and takes longer to wake up. The S and X...
Thanks for your offer. Let me setup a separate web app where there are no timeout limits and we can try to analyze the logs and figure out whats...
This change is in now. If the car display setting is said to Ideal instead of Rated, the spoken ranges will show appropriate value.
The basic problem is that I don't have access to a Model 3 to test this out on :) I see a connect issue on my Model X sometimes but it almost...
1. I don't believe controlling seat heaters is available via the APIs 2. It might be possible. This is a relatively new API and I haven't had a...
Yes you are right. If your Display setting is set to "Ideal" instead of "Rated", we should display the corresponding value (which is available in...
Use command "switch cars"
I just tried it, it seems to work for me. It might be related to how you are invoking the skill. What is the actual interaction starting with...
The skill is called only when a user asks for it on Alexa so there is nothing running the background that could cause a battery drain. Someone had...
You can say "open charge port". If a cable is plugged in, it will unlock the port.
You can say "Ask EV Car for help" . That will list out most basic commands you use. This direct URL to the Actions Directory Listing display all...
Welcome to the forums. You can in-fact open the trunk without the car being unlocked. "Ask E.V. Car to open trunk" should do the trick for you....
I just tried on a couple of my Alexa devices and it works as expected. Invoking the skill in under Amazon control so nothing we can do from the...
Right now Google Home action and the two Alexa skills (EV Car and My Tesla) all do the exact same thing. The original idea was to have EV car...
It is configured for the UK region so should work. Let me know if you see any issues getting it to work. Update: Just checked the analytics and...

I don't see a way of doing that. Is it possible to edit old posts?
Yes, something you can't on even do on Tesla app :)
There is an API for it. I didn't add it as I didn't personally see a need for it. I can add it along with the other changes I am working on....
