I am hoping the Cobalt XR2 will be streetable. Track performance shouldn't be an issue.
Ppl have been reporting that carbotech are noisy. No first hand experience. Hopefully I'll get to try the Cobalt XR2 this weekend.

Looks like they're out
If it's brand new, it will last longer because of the mold release that's on top of the rubber coming out of the factory.
the ones I got have DoT of 2018 49th week. Not too bad.
doesn't most modern car including Model 3 have some sort of wheel well pressure relief into the front windshield area?
how do you know your alignment is horrible? Did you get a before and after print out?
some people say it's the same compound as RSR but better tread design so it's not so noisy. I have not used neither so I don't know the grip level.
18x9.5 you can do 255/40/18 A052 or RE-71r if you want a quicker tire without breaking the bank. 265/40/18 RS-PRO would be a tier down but more...
Yeah, if you're running 9.5 wheel, go with rs-pro, if you're running 10.5 or more wheel, go with Sur4g. Just remember Sur4g likes high PSI than...
You should try the Sur4g again on a much wider wheel and higher psi. The first time I use them it was with 18x9.5 and thought they were just OK...
Sur4g is faster. NT01 takes too long to warm up. By the time it warms up, the car is already pulling power or your SOC is below 70% and you lose...
I didn't get a screen shot. I think it was around 49/51%
Yeah, I heard from a friend of the organizers that he should be OK. Do you know if all evgo charger have issues charging over ~70% or just these...
Total without me should be 4036 lbs
Great job getting that perfect 50% cross weight. Total weight is with me in the car. [ATTACH]
After getting my car corner balanced at The Driveway in San Jose, I immediately signed up for a track day to see if there are any improvements in...
@Clivew how good do you think the Model 3's ABS is on track? Is threshold braking better or smashing the brake and let ABS sort it out?
to answer OP's original question, The performance red caliper has bigger pad sweep area, larger rotor radius (more torque), and beefier and...

Brand new set of 4 Konig DEKAGRAM matte black. 19X9.5 +35 5x114.3 that fits Model 3, wheels are only 19.86 lbs each! One wheel was opened to test...
I have Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus 2 and it's very comfortable and quite. I went with slightly oversized 245/40/19 to prevent curb rashes.
I am also running MPP Sport coilovers and agree with everything @dfwatt said. I am running the damper at 12c10r all around and on 19 inch touring...
there is no need to replace any other suspension components if all you're looking is to drop the ride height a little. The increase in camber will...
Is the offset printed on the wheel? Hard to imagine ET25 + 10mm spacers in the front would fit under stock fender.
You're correct. You get more clearance with 19. 18x10 you do need +30.
Performance rotors
I have personally used 19x10 +35 at the front without issue.
what is the rear wheel offset?
Severe heat soak at lap 5 at VIR is pretty impressive.
Awesome videos. That was fun chasing those gt4. Did you have any other cooling upgrades besides the rear drive unit?
I've heard DS2500 is a good daily and light track pad. You can see this for info Ferodo Racing Official Website - Racing Brake Pads
Hello, I am looking for a used Model 3 from Tesla. Does anyone have a good sales advisor on the west coast that can help me find the deal I want?...
How can a 2018 car have warranty until Oct. 2024 or 60,000?
Could you please let me know where did you see this?
Hello, I am interested. But I am in norcal, any chance my friend can pick it up from you?
Hello, could you please let me know the product page? I am interested. thanks
still available?
Yeah, I think even with AKB springs, you'll have issues with the rattling. You should ask AP if there is local distributor that has similar...
You're right, it's from Essex. Anyways, it helps to remove the pad rattling, two of my friends have them and they say they don't hear pad rattle...
do you have the spring clip? [ATTACH]
Even thought the calipers are larger and more piston, the piston area are generally kept the same as OEM in order to not change brake bias. I am...
just speculation, I've had done exact same setup except for more aggressive pads and the brake temp warning came up much later.
Depends on the compound of your pads. If they are more aggressive than stock, they you shouldn't get any brake temp warning as you will be using...
Good to hear that the larger radiator helped. Did you have to take off the entire front end to install it?
the shield for performance is larger if I remember correctly
it's even worse when you have a ton of negative camber.
