I'll check, not driven it for so long now . It used to change colour, but since it became about 3 pixels high it's just grey. Or maybe I've...
It could change colour too, red for naughty you've got too much throttle on and green for loads of regen. :) I'm sure some other EV's manage this.
It would be even better if it could include the waypoints you set in Google maps rather than just the start and end points.
Yeah, it can't be that hard to code it to use a few more pixels in height.
Suckers willing to pay it ?
That's not a road that's a bridleway :)
From what we've seen in the past, the answer to that seems to be: Not a lot.
I suspect the car will be written off, but having said that, they write cars off for what appears to be trivial damage these days.
Any car would do that in those conditions. Loose snow on shiny ice = zero grip.
I can hardly wait :D
In black it's £60k !
I think it also to prevent your arms/hands from smacking you in the head. o_O
Worth looking at the SEAT Mii. The wife has got one on order. Nice looking car, maybe a bit on the small side but it does all she wants. 160 mile...
Seeing traffic lights on the screen is all well and good but what is the point of it in Europe ? There are far more important things to sort out.
Nope :( Or I would have done it long ago.
I Emailed them the same question about the new rates and Go and got a reply in 4 minutes !! So worth a Go :)
UPDATE #2 Tesla have sorted it now, not sure how but they sent an Email asking if it was fixed. No factory reset required.
I tried that so many times, it very briefly half appears but doesn't stay. Not tried when stationary but that's not really when you need it....
I find that looking out of the windscreen works everytime. ;)
How do you access the Wh/mile and tyre pressure slide tabs now ? I've tried the sweep left/right that brought them up instantly before but no joy...
Have they gone mad ? What is the point of this ?
UPDATE On 48.26 now, still not working. Spoke to Tesla support, asked me to do a soft reset. Did that whilst on the phone to them. Still not...
Mine's not worked since the 12.1 update either, tried all the remedies, I'll give Tesla a call.
Best one I had in response to "wipers speed two" it came up with "wife has alzheimer's" Hopefully not
I live in a bungalow where the charger is on the wall outside the bedroom. I'd like to leave the car plugged in and set at 80% but if I do it...
Unfortunately I can't see that happening anytime soon, maybe in 5 years though. But the install costs will still be outrageous.
The installer only used 4mm^2 cable, is 40A rating ok on that ? Or should I use 32A ? You are right about the contactor of course, I thought...
My 3 year old Rolec charger has tripped the RCBO a couple of times in the last few months. I suspect it might be the low quality part that they...
Sounds ludicrously expensive to me. You could probably get the car resprayed twice for that.
If it's printed in plastic, forget it. It will flex far too much to stiffen the master cylinder mounting in any useful way. It may work if...
It always amazes me that Tesla manage mess up a feature that been working OK for some time. And then do it again
Fake wood dashboard. Now fixed :)
Got to ask, what's the point when you most likely have a phone in your pocket already running the App?
I stand corrected, it's looks like its about 86% gas nationwide. But I wouldn't mind betting that of new build housing the figure is nearer 95%...
In the UK about 95% of house heating uses gas. Cost to run is about 1/3rd the cost of electric heating, unless you have a heat pump. Most of our...
I agree, very good stuff, removes any residues left on the screen inside or out.
Having watched some of the video's posted above my first reaction is, wouldn't it be great if we had roads like that, i.e. with no traffic to...
I think we have to face up to the fact that Tesla is not likely to make any software changes to the change the layout of the screen just for the...
Thoughts ? A pointless crock of shite.
Precisely, it makes almost no difference, it's all about the tyre fitters profit.
Yes, fair point. Although at the moment there seem to be far more reports of AP making stupid mistakes than there are of AP saving lives. Having...
Yes, but difference is that a human (in most cases) would have years of experience to call upon to know that if you see brake lights ahead then...
I've got to say it's a pretty dumb idea using AP on a road like that. The car is bound to balls it up sooner or later. :(
Well that's all a rather expensive pain in the posterior isn't it ? Talk about overkill. Having said that I appreciate DC shocks tend to be nasty...
Another possibility is to use the Ohme charger that plugs into a commando socket. If you sign up to Octopus they sell them for £200. It has a...
Warranty for sure. Common issue.
It ought to have it as standard, loads of cars in this price range have it.
Didn't dechrome it in the end. Seemed way too expensive for what is basically a bit of sticky tape and an hours work. I'm in Broughton near...
My TeslaFi says There are 100 vehicles with charges at your current odometer reading. 99 Vehicles have a higher range. 1 Vehicle has a lower range. :(
I don't think it does.
