Sounds like the steering rack bolts. I believe there was a recall on those a while back. Easy fix. I just got back from my service center and they don’t seem to be aware they can unlock my battery. Where are you guys that got the unlock located? I was at a new service center that just opened north of Montreal so maybe they’re not up to speed on these things.

I’ve noticed all the loaners are locked on chill mode lately. Not sure if it’s like that everywhere if a local thing they do in Montreal but I’ve had three in the last month all locked in chill mode.

What you’re experiencing could be a lack of lube in your wheel hub where it meets the axel spline. They don’t seem to put enough molybdenum grease when it’s assembled and they start to corrode which further displaces the grease. No noticeable differences but I only drove straight home and AP was calibrating half the drive so only got to see it on the highway a little bit. I still have MCU1 and it was buggy and slow until I did a reset. I’ll do more testing today.

March 2017 Model S here. HW3 was installed yesterday at the Montreal service center. No word on MCU upgrade though.

I have a February 2017 built 60D. Full charge is 332km after 45000km. New was about 345 if I remember correctly. I wanted to upgrade recently but it seems Tesla won’t do that anymore.

I like the cyclones a lot for the looks but the slipstreams are more aerodynamic so I use them for longer road trips. If I’m not planning any long trips for a while I install the cyclones which in my case are painted grey and look awesome on a black car.

I’ve had them retract on me. There shouldn’t be much pressure as they are held in by a spring. However the element of surprise causes people to pull their hand away quickly which I guess can rap your knuckles. I tried it again without pulling away and there’s not much pinching pressure.
