Cabin heat isn't working on my 2015 MS-P85D. Only cold air from below or on defrost. There was a firmware update that caused this once before so posting to see if anyone else has seen this recently. Otherwise I'll open a service ticket.

I'm having a similar issue w/ my S. Seemingly connects/disconnects about every 5-15 minutes all day long. This does not seem to have begun w/ .48 but could have and I didn't notice it. It seems to have started more recently. 2015 P85D / 2020.48.37.1 / Original 72a HPWC.

It's possible. A bad memory bit unaccounted for could possibly cause this.

Some interesting raw data: 3/26 - normal charging session. 3/27: - Charge Enable Request went 1 @ 10p as expected, BUT, Time To Full Charge went to 0. And stayed 0 forever. Charger phases and other indicators of charging did not change as expected. The charger should have had power so it...

All subsequent days until it reached 0% SOC. No charge indicator on these days. It should have begun to charge at 10p as it had been doing for prior several months. Phantom on this day was 8.84 though all subsequent days were about 9.19. Nothing changed from weeks prior to this nor for weeks...

Thanks. Tesla tech was here and it is charging correctly now without scheduled charging. Tesla logs don't show any errors related to this until it hit 0% SOC. What we're trying to figure out is what caused it to suddenly stop charging each day and if others have seen this behavior.

Yet... Their pricing does not seem like it'd be profitable on just hardware sales. I've seen this routine many times before - very low price, get lots of people on the platform and then start monetizing. Some make it, some don't. We'll see :-)

@Vines, thanks for the eGauge tip. There's a lot to like about it but the cost is astronomical. It'd be about 3x TED and 6x IotaWatt. Your's is the first I've heard about a TED system failing. People generally seem to be happy with them. What happened w/ yours?

TED Pro vs IotaWatt TED was once signature based but for the past few years is CT based. There are 8 CT's per Spyder and IIRC you can officially do 4 Spyders so 32 CT's I believe. One concern w/ TED is that they use PLC for xmitting data from the MTU's to the ECC. Ethernet would be better...

Emporia's model appears to be to sell the hardware cheap (and possibly below cost) and then make revenue off of charging a subscription and selling the data. The probability that they will go belly up and leave all of the hardware useless is not very low. Sense is just not accurate enough...
