Yeah, since about 2020.8 firmware approx, its a new "feature" when charging cycle goes from constant current to constant voltage, about 80% SOC, depending on battery degradation on 85 kWh batteries. Same for Supercharger, its rate limited now on those old batteries. Plenty of reports. Its sad...

Generally speaking it doesn't charges because the MCU is not online it cannot check its database for location based charging current. So my assumption is that for safety reasons (using 40A on a location you have set to 25A for example) it refuses to charges. It should be able to supercharge but...

This vastly differ from my experience. Beside the failed bolt on the ZF (or Bosch) power steering unit. Your issue seems unrelated, maybe an isolated wiring / connector issue ?

They closed that Ethernet port mid-2014 (see around those posts: Successful connection on the Model S internal Ethernet network) You now need an unlock key that you send in before it unlocks.

I would get a comma EON and grey panda (grey to enable high resolution gps because there will soon be maps integrated in Openpilot). Then you can use the opensourced hardware and build (or have build) your own giraffe to connect the Panda to the car.

Yes different tap point in the hatch and no OBD connector on the board would work great. There is Chassis CAN on the parking sensor ECU in the hatch, driver's side. Probably also elsewhere that I can find for you for those without parking sensors.

The service bulletin for the recall states that if any of the old bolts are defective then the service center has to replace the whole steering rack.

Yeah it worked fine for my car (re-installing with new bolts), but Tesla insisted in replacing the rack anyway. I probably got one of the last in-stock steering rack in Montreal... Sorry guys... And with the end of quarter usual loaners sellout hope you guys didn't end up with Entreprise rentals...

An AP1 friend tested our car and found Openpilot to be much smoother. We will show more videos, time permitting.

It’s incredibly hard to place the camera to show full steering wheel, the comma neo and the road... we have better videos. We can drive for hours without touching the steering wheel except for lane changes and bumping the user awareness every 6 min.

Yep! Charged there this morning (just for testing, like 89% to 90%). Spoke to the Tesla Field Service Technician there, he was finishing the testing. Very nice guy, brought him coffee and donuts on behalf of the Tesla community ;)

Levis, QC is online Brossard, QC will be online on Friday (if everything works out as planned). No charging there until its ON.

Yeah, the technician was at Quebec (Levis, QC) supercharger this morning and turned it ON. He said this one (Brossard, QC) at Dix30 will be online on Friday (in two days!)

Levis, QC is not ONLINE! Technician was there today, said he will turn on Brossard Dix30 on Friday!

Power is confirmed ON! Technician was there today.

No change as of this morning. Still fenced and no power.

Looks like Mascouche, QC and Laval, QC are next. Work starting next week for competition by the end of October. There seems to be some serious push to add some before winter arrives. I would expect some more surprise in Canada in the next weeks ;)

For those not following the Brossard Dix30 supercharger thread, its now completed. Waiting for power. This being Eastern Canada Supercharger thread I think its worth a mention. Allowing to skip Montreal entirely when moving in the Toronto - Quebec City corridor. Also Levis, QC is awaiting power...

All visible work done including paint, new lines etc. Stalls power still off, waiting for Hydro-Quebec perhaps and then final tests. The workers are all gone with their equipment. Now time to find out where there are heading next! Pointe-Claire ? Laval ? Charlemagne ? Saint-Sauveur ...

Friday Sept 8th. Lots of work being done. Finishing stalls ground work. Confirmed 12 stalls, 6 charging cabinets.

Friday site check, 4-5 active workers. Great and steady progress so far! Concrete forms are mostly done, they probably want concrete in today to cure during the weekend. There is one nose-in stall (for trailers) and the other stalls are regular back in.

Quick follow-up, equipment arrived yesterday morning and its being unpacked today. No notable change right now in the ground work from above pictures.
