The longer the segment, the less reliable it is because even small errors have huge impacts over long distances. For my long segments, I keep the trip graph up almost constantly, especially in the first 1/3 of the trip. I moderate my speed to keep roughly on track with the estimated arrival...

We'd have to determine whether supercharge.info's API provides the information and then assess what it would take to integrate that into our code base. @aNullValue would have to do all that, so he'd have the final say on whether he's willing/able to devote the time to making that happen...

    When do idle fees apply?

True. To further help, Tesla is now using congestion fee pricing to encourage people to move along. Congestion fees start when you've surpassed a given SOC. I suspect we'll see congestion fees used more frequently going forward. They explain the various fees here, specifically when idle fees...

    When do idle fees apply?

The best rule of thumb is that if the site was =>50% occupied at any time during your charging session, idle fees will apply. The exact amount of the idle fee is variable. So, if you and three other vehicles are charging, even for a minute, at an 8-stall site, you will incur idle fees when your...

I've found the V4s to be a step backwards in usability, as your experience shows. As someone with a handicap, everything about V4 cables is worse for me.

I don't know what video you are referring to, but I've visited a lot of V4s and can't recall one time when I had to push the button to release the handle just to use the NACS port. Pressing and holding the button for several seconds and then pushing up will release the Magic Dock.

You don't usually have to press the button to release the handle without the Magic Dock on V4 dispensers. Just give it a pull.
