I've found the V4s to be a step backwards in usability, as your experience shows. As someone with a handicap, everything about V4 cables is worse for me.

I don't know what video you are referring to, but I've visited a lot of V4s and can't recall one time when I had to push the button to release the handle just to use the NACS port. Pressing and holding the button for several seconds and then pushing up will release the Magic Dock.

You don't usually have to press the button to release the handle without the Magic Dock on V4 dispensers. Just give it a pull.
