What is a "T" tire?

Recently test drove a 2024 Tesla 3 (Performance). Other than no stalks, I didn't notice much difference from my 2018 T3 with 40,000 miles. Yeah, there was a smoother interior and power trunk, but I didn't think all that was worth getting a new T3. Thoughts?

I still have my 2018 Tesla 3 and stil love it. It has 40k miles on it. I got new tires a month ago, and I see no reason to get a new Tesla. Why spend the money to get a 2024 car when my 2018 is good? Just to have a newer version?

This is all a matter of opinion and prefence. Black rim protectors match the tire and are not as "ugly". After you have had to get your rims fixed at $90-$100 a rim, you might change your mind. Some people are just cooler and more practical than others.

I have a 2018 model 3 with all the software updates and FSD. Does self-parking only apply to backing into a parking space, and not parallel or angled parking?

Why is this trunk opening retrofit not compatible with the 2018 model 3? Can't Tesla resolve this, especially with the installations described in this thread?

Do these recommendations work if you have solar panels, or does the solar generation override?

The magnet on the door and the sensor in ther sill must line up. I had the same problem until manually adjusted the door magnet to get it to line up.

My 2018 Tesla 3 autopark works sometimes, when it wants to; but only for perpendicular back-in parking. It never works for parallel parking.

I talked to a Tesla driver who was using a EVgo level 3 charger. He said he does it because many times the Superchargers were full and that the EVgo charger was cheaper and closer to his work. Are level 3 chargers cheaper?

I just noticed the same thing. In San Diego I don't get many opportunities to use the wipers, but it drizzled today. The wipers did not automatically come on. I finally set them at 1. Maybe they set the wipers not to be used here.

I don't think it is the struts. They are after market electric struts. Once I clear the trunk latch, the trunk opens fine and stays up. The trunk latch on the car body wiggles as if it's loose.

When I try to open the trunk on my 2018 Tesla 3, it opens about 1 inch but then reseats to the closed position. I'm able to "force" it open if I pull up before it reseats. The "ring" on the body of the car seems loose. Should it be? This just happened recently? The trunk closes appropriately...

I now have 2 additional harnesses connected to the OBD connector at the rear of the arm rest. One is for a dash indicator and the other for S3XY Buttons. Is there a limit as to how many harnesses can be added? I realize there is a space issue that can be worked around.

When I unlock my driver door, all 3 passengers doors, even at home, remain locked. I'm unable to find any setting to allow all doors to unlock. How can I unlock all doors from outside the car?

Hyundai has the vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability with the new Lectron (V2L) connector. This enables one to use the car's battery for camping and other AC devices. Are there any vehicle-to-load (V2L) connectors for Tesla cars?

Leave it. It looks fine as is and you won't have the usual problems associated with having lowered a Tesla.
