Oh yes, the joys of sitting in traffic and wasting my life. driving is fun when it's a good, smooth surface, no traffic, no cops. I never experience that anymore, so the fun of driving is dead for me.

I have absolutely seen it fail to stay within the lane. It's less common now (happened a lot 3 or so years ago on mountain roads) but I still see it from time to time. I love autopilot but Elon's calling of it as "superhuman" is preposterous.

The only features that count are the ones that are actually released to the public. Even if/when that happens, it's just nav on autopilot for the street, and it's going to require tons of babysitting. I admit it'll be the first release towards FSD that actually matters, but we're still never...

If it can't do unprotected left turns across multiple lanes, it's useless for me. Avoiding them would add a completely unreasonable amount of time and distance to my commute in both directions.

People keep saying this and it's BS. These cars are simply quite loud at highway speeds when it comes to interior noise.

I'm glad the seats are a good fit for you, truly. They feel almost like a bar stool for me, in terms of how much of my legs are supported. Precooling is in no way a substitute for ventilated seats though. That's for not sitting down on a hot seat, it doesn't help with not getting a warm back...

if the Y had better seats (adjustable thigh support, ventilation), better sound insulation, more overall amenities and carplay I'd consider overlooking the fact that tesla is screwing over early FSD buyers, but for a daily driver my priorities have changed ;)

It seems like a lot of people stepped up into the Model 3/Y from cheaper cars and have lower standards for amenities, comfort and quiet than people coming from recent cars in a similar price class.

It's a big deal for the people who live in places where it rains. There've been a number of physical design problems with the cars that were clearly stupid to anyone who's lived somewhere outside of the bay area/most of California with similar weather, it'd be unfortunate to see the software...

Insurance companies, like Tesla themselves, do not care about customer loyalty and just do whatever they feel like. Always shop around.

Can't recall the actual numbers but it was a similar situation but worse. Was in central and eastern Wyoming, in winter, and had a monster headwind with temps down around zero whilst on I-80. Was stopping at every supercharger!
