Need inspiration for customizing your Tesla? Take a look at this Tesla Model S we recently helped the owner customize to stand out from the rest!
We first performed our Exterior Enhancement Services & Interior Conditioning to freshen up this Tesla before we performed a Full Vehicle Custom...
Our process for applying Paint Protection Film is one of the most unique and most advanced in the industry. We not only have some of the highest skilled installers in the country, we also focus on the condition of the existing paint before applying our PPF. We make sure your paint is in pristine...
Their statement to me was that it shared fitment with a few different vehicles, and while it worked well for the Model 3, the fitment was a tad too aggressive unless the vehicle was lowered. Their new fitments look really nice when a vehicle is lowered, but still look great when a Model 3 is on...
I have been discussing with HRE almost every day figuring out future strategies for the Tesla community, they are on board with the community, but with the FlowForm series of wheels, many wheels need to be made in the same size for the pricing model to be viable. Input like this helps us figure...
Make sure to check the bottom of the doors, inside the doors, and the rocker panels for defects or damage. Also common thing we've seen is where the rear 1/4 window ends inside the hatch, there has been epoxy/glue that is rather unsightly and still sticky. Sometimes the vehicle is damaged in...
Applying a ceramic coating underneath PPF would not provide much benefit if any. Ceramic coatings have a high surface tension and therefore make things want to stick on their surface less. A ceramic should be applied on top of PPF if you're looking for the UV protection, hydro-phobics, and stain...
Not wrapping the edges will still be something you see from a few feet back, maybe less so with certain colors but typically matte finish films are installed using an uncut film roll and installing custom to provide the most coverage and be visually pleasing. Some modification to pre-cut files...
I caution applying a ceramic yourself if you haven't at least polished a car before or have a strong understanding of the things that can go wrong. I know a lot of DIY detail enthusiasts have the confidence and knowledge of how to apply a sealant and the proper prep involved. However of lot of...
It's definitely the industry standard that SUVs have rear privacy glass. Model Y seems to be no exception. About 20% VLT on the rear windows of the Model Y I saw. Same as the MX
My typical recommendation is to have at least the front bumper, headlights, foglights, mirrors, and the leading edge of the rear bumper (behind the rear tire) covered with PPF. These are the items that are vulnerable with almost anyone's driving habits. The hood and fenders are definitely high...
There is a film that protects the windshield against chips. A few different brands but clearplex is a popular one. The downside is that it still gets chips etc. It's in the film instead of the windshield which is a huge win. However, the downside is that from real world experience, the film...
Make sure to check the bottom of the doors, inside the doors, and the rocker panels for defects or damage. Sometimes the vehicle is damaged in transport etc. Also if your vehicle has a front plate mount that (edit: is ) attached with double sided tape. Look around at the other vehicles. Do they...
This was completed at the late part of 2018/very early 2019 and although it's not modified with body kits etc, protecting/changing almost every aspect of the vehicle in some way isn't done very often in one go. Looking forward to the larger projects and I get excited every time something new or...

Something to check is inside the door jams, where the forward bottom corner of the rear door and the rearward bottom corner of the front door meet. Sometimes when mounting the doors, the bottom corners scratch and dig into the top of the rocker panel and the only 100% fix is a repaint.
I think this is the reason Tesla has chosen to switch the standard color to white, the paint itself is no more durable or high quality than the black, but people are less likely to see damage like this on a black car. I've seen Model 3s delivered in this kind of shape, usually not but you'd be...
Yeah the first gen Model S had plastic rockers (got chewed up but fairly inexpensive to replace) but now the Model S and 3 have the painted rockers, which one could argue is "more premium" but also might be the case of "one less part to make/install"
Glad to see the Model Y hopefully takes...
From this photo the load floor looks fairly high (which is fine since it's an SUV but something to think about) but I think it might be that rear diffuser piece making it seem further front the ground.

We remove those side cameras for install on every M3/MS/MX that receives a front end package (meaning the full fenders get PPF). Have not had an issue once. Estimate 2000+ vehicles. The process is fairly straightforward, and for the most invisible install possible we recommend removing them to...
Coating is applied on PPF on a regular basis through professional installers and DIYers alike. While it is true that some coatings aren't meant for or ideal for PPF application, there are multiple coatings DESIGNED for PPF. XPEL recently launched Fusion Plus and after applying it on my personal...
Unfortunately this is a common occurrence and is not a paint defect, but a reality of driving a Model 3. First gen Model S has plastic rocker panels and although it might not be seen as "premium" it certainly was effective and inexpensive to replace down the road when they inevitably get sand...
