My Y Performance is rock stable at 100+mph I changed my winter to summer tires my self It's usually a rim or a tire to blame. There's no magic here. If wheels are good, then there is a mechanical issue.

Hard to believe a brand new X would have an out of spec alignment.. You need to re-balance the tires to rule them out.

The EVs can miserably fail while driving on the highway creating a life threatening hazard. There is no any sort of backup system. For example the aircraft can fly on a single engine if one fails. They also have numerous power source backups. On the other hand the ICE is less likely to fail out...

The S is awesome on it's own My wife said it is indeed hard to get in and get out. The Y is more practical. The build quality is fairly similar to both. The Plaid makes more sense but the standard not too much and I guess it needs to be refreshed.

Well I am in Chicago and have the Y. It's less efficient than in the Summer. Charging is a concern regardless of the season. It is best to charge at home from the 240V circuit. If you can charge at home, get the car!

My MYP tires are within 1-2 range depending on the temperature. I never touch them.

True, but I wonder why tesla 12V dies so quick. Is it due for not being constantly charged enough? The inverter on the Prius takes care of the 12V and the HV battery.

It's strange how Tesla 12V battery dies after 2-3 years while my Prius 12V still runs strong after 9+ years..

I just purchased the 19" winter tire package from the TSportline. I have yet to see how they perform, but speed rating doesn't really bother me and safety is definitely a bigger concern.

This is totally normal and my MYP acts the same. The efficiency will be crap during the hot/cold days. This is nothing like the ICE car IMO. You will need to charge more than you think.

At 48A, the breaker and the charging cable is warm, but not hot.

Interesting I have mine set to 80% Sometimes it charges to 82%, but never above that.

Summer is nearing the end and I am already eyeing for winter packages. My current ones are at 6k miles in and in superb condition, so I just wonder how can I keep the possession of my tires?

Assuming I will be buying tire package from Tesla. Once they get the tires, will they rush to install it or can keep them for some time? Also, where are they going to put the current ones? I don't think all the 21" can fit into the back.

I have the Prius as well. Their AGM batteries are superb and lasts 10+ years. On the other hand, the Tesla 12V AGM lasts only up to 3 years? I suppose they aren't getting enough juice to last much longer.
