    Three car seats??

It's astounding to me that the Y is narrower than the 3 in the rear.

Model Y Rear Seat comfort for 3?

Our 2010 minivan is getting more expensive to fix and it seems like every time we bring it to service that want to charge us over 2,000 for some major repair like power steering etc. At least it feels that way. A simple oil change turns into a $1k service very often. We're ready finally to...

Am I missing something or is Tesla really this discombobulated right now?

It must be a glitch or one has the FSD option

More Model 3 changes and leasing now available

Hahaha.... Investment. A car is never an investment. An investment is something that earns your money. A new car is throwing $100 dollar bills out your window whole driving.

    FSD Price increasing May 1?

Does he mean he's raising the price to upgrade after you bought the car or raising the price in the configurator?

More Model 3 changes and leasing now available

All this pricing changes is making he a little dizzy. They shouldn't have taken the SR of menu though. That's bad. They need to have the $35k model 3 as an option to buy.

More Model 3 changes and leasing now available

An Update to Our Vehicle Lineup Lots of changes. AGAIN. Autopilot now standard. Standard and LR now off menu. Standard is now a software limited plus. Blog post below: Model 3 has been the best-selling premium car in the U.S. for the past three quarters, and we’ve heard from Model 3...

Anybody else get the feeling we'll hear about more than the Model Y on the 14th?

I agree. A refresh of the month x or s should eliminate any possible Osbourne effect with the X especially if the Y is awesome.

This was planned a while back. No grasping here.

    Sentry Mode

Not really. Car alarms don't attract attention. If the USB port was in the glovebox it could work.
  19. cdub

What's to stop thieves from stealing USB stick and thus all the video of the theft?

EV Comparison: Tesla Model 3 Versus Chevy Bolt

Ha! Sure it does. It devalues by at least $10k because of Federal and state incentives. And it devalues because now it is a used car. Repeat after me... A new car is not an investment. It's a RAPIDLY depreciating asset.
  21. cdub

Regular (not enhanced) Autopilot on Long-Range RWD

No. It'll just show the cars and have autopilot safety features. It will NOT auto steer or have TACC.
  22. cdub

Congrats! What price did you get?
  23. cdub

    CPO 2013 Model S 85... $35k.

Lower for an 85? Wow. Haven't seen those yet. This is cheapest I've seen but I haven't looked in a while.
  24. cdub

    CPO 2013 Model S 85... $35k.

This seems like a great deal: New & Used Electric Cars | Tesla What would be the current range of a 2013 s85? When I looked into CPOs a year ago a similar car was in low 50s. That's almost 20k depreciation in a year. Is it worth it? I'd be giving up autopilot but getting lifetime charging...

You can almost smell the Mercedes desperation

Really? The circular air vents are hideous.

    Software Update 2018.39.5 a1c2332 (first 9.0 release)

Blind spot monitoring works in all 2.x cars
  27. cdub

Hmm. To buy this car new with those options it'd be $54,000 or $44,000 with Federal and CA incentives. 13,000 miles is a lot of miles for a car this young. $40,000 is a good offer.

Arggh, another surprise price increase (red paint up another $500)

Red is expensive. They were probably losing money at old price.

Your Invitation: Immediate Model 3 Delivery

Got this as well. Trying to sell as many as possible before end of Q3. Although I might be waiting for the Y. Or possibly the $35k version... But probably the Y.

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

His headiness on this topic seem meant only for clicks and are extremely irresponsible and misleading and could even prove to be self fulfilling.

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

He's teared up a bunch of times about not seeing his kids as much as he wanted. He's also opened up about his personal life and talked about its hell all the time. This is nothing new. Nyt just sensationalized it for the bigger audience with a nefarious spin.
  36. cdub

    Elon Musk

Read it again. Worst is yet to come is in reference to personal anguish from shorts and people who take what he says out of context.

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

If you read the article the worst yet to come is for him on a personal level because of the mental anguish caused by the shorts and forces against him. It's clear in the article but of course that's the quote people are using out of context.

Elon Tweeting about Thailand and Reputation

Can someone lock this thread already? It's pointless now and has devolved into a nightmare of flames and snark.
  43. cdub

    Elon Musk

He hasn't tweeted anything recently just retweets of positive model 3 news. And almost everything their Sunday was deleted.
  44. cdub

Elon Tweeting about Thailand and Reputation

Nah. I understand he was mad but this was uncalled for. Very immature.
  45. cdub

    Elon Musk

I don't think anyone is defending it. It was an idiotic thing said in anger and stupid.
  46. cdub

    Elon Musk

He asked repeatedly if it was helpful and if he should make it and bring it. They kept saying YES.
  47. cdub

    Elon Musk

I agree with you... Just imagining it from his perspective.
