    Scalding Hot Door Handles!

@ WMAC - they do wrap all the way behind the handle. It's hard to see in the picture (the last pic was an attempt), but it wraps the entire front of the handle, as well as the back of the handle where you pull it. I've been burn myself a few times in the past Both the clear and the colored...

Missing carpet pieces in the trunk?

Yep - it's normal. I asked my Service Center not too long ago, and they didn't know if they were supposed to be there or not. Checked a few other cars quickly, and they all had those holes. I wonder why they're there, though...

85D TACC cruise stalk missing button

I understand that some see the button as not needed - and I agree that it's probably not. It would be nice, however, to have the cleaner dash without the cruise icons on it if not needed. When I start, it shows the cruise set at zero... then it keeps the indicator on whatever speed it was last...

85D TACC cruise stalk missing button

Yes, it does work if I engage it. However, I can only cancel it.. not turn it off. By that, I mean that I cannot get the icon off of the display - it always has the grey arrow. Interesting that the Tesla guys have never seen it - one guy even walked onto the production floor with me on the...

85D TACC cruise stalk missing button

I just picked up my 85D (VIN 83XXX) yesterday afternoon, and noticed something odd on the way home. The TACC stalk does not have a button on the end to turn the TACC on/off as indicated in the manual (see pictures). I emailed my delivery specialist and he thought it was odd, and I called Tesla...

    Rain-sensing wipers driving me nuts!

Some states have laws that require your headlights to be on if your wipers are on (Ohio being one of them). I was told that depending on your location, your Model S will turn the lights on while the wipers are activated to be in compliance with state laws.

    Phone App: iPhone/Android app

I'm curious when others have had access to the mobile app. My car is "in production"' but it won't let me get past entering my email/password saying that my vehicle may not be ready. I've heard from some that they have access while the car is being built, but Tesla is telling me that I won't be...
