    Model Y Build Quality Improving?

Short vent from me: It is stuff like this that discourages me. I have tried to press the trim correctly. No luck. Service center is not all that close and previous service experience has beat me down to not caring.

Would you still buy a Model Y now if you could do it again?

I traded M3 with 64k miles. Answer is yes. Regret : I should have went with performance.

    First “long trip” range anxiety

I have a Model Y LR. My previous car was a Model 3 LR - AWD. My trip to my Mom's starts with a 202mi from my house to Supercharger. Next leg is a 226mi in the middle of nowhere to the next Supercharger. I have made the trip twice in Model Y. Six previous trips Model 3. Yes you will make...

    Tesla only vehicle

I traded Model 3 for Model Y. Model 3 had 64K miles on it. Two service events. At delivery top glass was cracked. Other service was for HW3 upgrade. Model Y only 5K miles so far. Only service was Homelink installation. Completed by mobile service. I am not worried.

Zoomit and others thank you for the information. Not for everyone but I am happy with it. I live on a dirt road. 18x8 +40 255/55/18 - Michelin Defender LTX/MS

Black Model Y with Black Plasti Dip Gemini Wheels

    Model Y TPMS?

I used a piece of black tape to cover the TPMS warning on a previous car. Would be good if there was a way the TPMS warning could be acknowledged / dismissed. On December 11 I ordered a set of TPMS from Littleton. Still waiting.

Trading Model 3 with FSD for Model Y with FSD

I ended up trading my Model 3 with FSD for Model Y without FSD. For me $10K a bit too steep. Happy with my decision. Keeping an open mind for future pricing options for FSD.

Black Model Y with Black Plasti Dip Gemini Wheels

Plastidip Gemini's without covers. Center caps / lug nut covers from Model 3. Not sure how it will hold up.

    Model 3 Aero with 235/45R18

I test fitted with 245/45/18 wheels/tires from my Model 3. Looks kind of silly. Otherwise it will work. Model 3 TPMS not compatible with Model Y TPMS. I have Model Y TPMS on order from Tesla Service Center. I will use my existing wheels and get larger tires.

    Delivery not accepted

Great news. I had a similar experience on 12/11 with vin# 078xxx. I had a missing "r" in the Dual Motor badge. Rear license plate bracket was loose / rattling. Both easily resolved once I got it home. Decided to remove the badge.

Upgrade from Model 3 - questions.

If I had the means I would have both. I traded my 2018 Model 3 with 64K miles for a 2021 Model Y. Agree with the suspension comments. The Model 3 handles road imperfections better. Considering replacement springs. Most likely when I get enough time / miles in the Model Y I will not know or...
