The 85 does not make sense with the release of the 70D
We all know there will be continual changes in the line-up. The 85 offers the same performance as the 70D but costs $5K more for 25 miles more range with no AWD, a terrible value. Even the 85D only offers 30 miles more range and a bit more acceleration for $10K more, not a terrific value... -

Guess A Tesla isn't in the cards for me, this time around
We have a 16 year old 5 series BMW station wagon. 540iT that is nearing replacement time. Detail Questions about the Dual Motor Option
These do not yet seem to be addressed that I can see. The S is already a big car. In experiences with other brands, the AWD versions of a car has a (sometimes much) larger turning radius than it's RWD counterpart, due to use of CV joints/axles in the front. Also it seems as the D version has... -

Does Fuel Savings really make that much of a difference?
New board member, right now just a lurker and a dreamer. I am planning for the future replacement for our 'larger' car which is a 15 year old BMW 540iT (wagon with a V8). It seems as 'estimated' savings is always factored into the payment cost. Here in NJ I'm paying nearly 17 cents a KWH...- Kbsilver
