Model 3 not moving after tire change?

Kal will match CT as long as the tire is in stock/available in their warehouse, at least that's what my local Kal does.

Rear collision alarm on Model 3?

No, usually rear cross traffic alert is done by radars on the rear bumper, which Teslas don’t have. I don’t think any of the sensors on the car have enough range to enable RCTA.

4 months left in 2020 to make a Tesla FSD on city streets

I don't know if this happens with anyone else, but my car recognizes so many "phantom" traffic lights, like flashing yellow caution lights to warn you to stay to the right of the island in the road, the car recognizes as a yellow light. Sometimes flashing yellow lights on construction cones, it...

No transportation if service appointment is under 3h, normal?

Oh, they'll give Uber credits? At least that should be fine, from the wording of the text it seemed like they wouldn't even give that. "Unless otherwise indicated between now and your appointment check-in, please be prepared to wait at the service centre"

No transportation if service appointment is under 3h, normal?

Usually, I go to another service centre but this time I booked it at a closer service centre and got a text saying that since they believe the appointment will take up to 3 hours, I should prepare to wait at the service centre and no complimentary transportation/transportation credits will be...

Tesla Service - still a complete joke?

I was surprised with service given what I had read about it, the first appointment at my SC was in a month, so I booked it but went into the SC to see if they could do something temporary till my date. I showed up 20 minutes before the service centre's closing time, and I mentioned the issue...

    Loose panel under car

I ended up going to service centre to see if they can do something temporary till my appointment like clip it and they just did the repair on the spot in 30 minutes

    Loose panel under car

The service centre reached out, they offered a mobile appointment for it

    Loose panel under car

Thanks, I'll take a look, I saw some posts mentioning it but I heard the part was redesigned in 2019. This is a June 2020 build.

    Loose panel under car

Yeah, Ontario, but currently Quebec for work, what sucks though is there's only 1 SC in Montreal, unlike the GTA. The earliest appointment in Montreal is August 26, so I scheduled it for Ottawa, which had availability for next Thursday (August 6). I'll see what they'll say then. I called Tesla...

    Loose panel under car

I noticed there's a loose panel under my M3, anyone have an idea on what it is? I created a service appointment but the earliest one in my area isn't for a month, a nearby city has one in a week though I don't know if I should drive the car until then.

Model 3 1yr free SC for deliveries through 6/30? Details inside.

I ordered it off the inventory page but it came from the factory so not sure, the car has a June 5 build date.

Model 3 1yr free SC for deliveries through 6/30? Details inside.

My SA applied it for me this morning without me asking, he said it’ll work from July 2, 2020 to July 2, 2021. My pickup is this afternoon. He applied it even though I had my order placed + pickup scheduled before the promo started, he said since I’m picking up before the end of June it’s fine.

Two Model 3 changes - Beginning of June

Toronto, it’s weird since I spoke with a SA yesterday who said the car was still in the US and hadn’t crossed the border and therefore he didn’t have a VIN. The one I spoke with today said car was already here and gave me the VIN. My delivery isn’t till the 27th though so I guess I’ll see then.
  15. M

How long before delivery did you see your vin?

Has anyone had a situation where the SA had the VIN before source/online? I called yesterday with a few questions and the SA answered them but also said the car still hadn’t crossed the border and therefore he doesn’t have the VIN, I called today with a question I forgot to ask yesterday, and a...

Two Model 3 changes - Beginning of June

VIN is 733xxx, taking delivery on June 27, advisor says that USB-C is only in the US and not in Canada but I’ve seen people post here about them getting it in Canada so I guess I will see when I take delivery of it.
  17. M

How long before delivery did you see your vin?

I have a feeling either we're not getting it in Canada for a while or the SAs haven't been properly trained on the change yet, I have a delivery for the 27th so I asked my SA and he said it's still in the factory but he thinks it will come with USB-A. He did tell me he will put down a reminder...

Considering upgrading to LR (from SR+)

I'm still not sure either, I originally ordered the LR, then thought about it and switched to SR+ and every day I still think about switching the order back to LR. The difference is just too big to justify going LR over SR+ for me though, $12000 in car price, $5000 federal rebate and $8000...

Two Model 3 changes - Beginning of June

Anyone in Canada get their car with USB-C? I have a pickup at the end of the month, so I called the delivery centre but they weren't really sure, he said the car is still in the factory and it seems it would be USB-A but he's not positive till they receive it.

    Am I taking crazy pills?

yeah I have a feeling they just have their own policies they stick to no matter how inconvenient they are to customers, like they tell me oh by law we can't register and plate the car with your out of province license, the government agency responsible for registering + plating says it's not a...

    Am I taking crazy pills?

Maybe not as bad as yours but similar, I recently moved provinces (in Canada), and still have my old driver's license. I wanted to switch my license over, but the government isn't offering license exchanges because of COVID though they said that my current license is fine to drive with for a...

Best Insurance Rates for Model 3?

RBC Insurance (I think they use Aviva) quoted me like $140/mo for the Model 3 SRP, but $300 for the LR. The guy on the phone didn't even seem to know why the jump was so big though they did seem to be the lowest of the ones I did call, though I didn't call many.
