Tesla Supercharger Points Surpass CHAdeMO In North America

I just saw this article today. Just wondering how this impacts CHAdeMO adaptor purchases in NA. Is it even worth getting one anymore? Or should we wait for the Supercharger system to become more robust? Tesla Supercharger Points Surpass CHAdeMO In North America

Opticoat Pro @ Distinctiv Detailing in the Bay Area

At first I wasn't really convinced that Opticoat was worth it. After reading the forums and looking at youtube videos, i decided to make the leap. Distinctiv Detailing was a reference from many people on this site as well as a personal friend. As for the results, they speak for themselves. Just...

    "Ticking" issues on new cars

I just visited the Tesla Service center (Oct 22, 2014) addressing a ticking issue in my car. When I arrived, service advisor knew exactly what the problem was and told me that "all" new cars have the same issue and as of now there is no known fix. I just wanted to start a thread to see if...

Looking for better ways to keep your screen clean.

Since taking ownership of the car, I've had a lot of excitement playing with the large 17inch screen. Obviously, it's prone to fingerprints. I wanted to see what other solutions people are using, other than the cloth included, to keep their screen fingerprint free.

Model S + other EVs with 12V Lead-Acid starter batteries

I was just wondering how the Model S and EVs keep their 12V batteries charged and prevent them from dying. How long can you NOT drive your EV before you get a dead starter battery like ICE cars. Is there a small alternator or does the 12V Lead-Acid get charged when the EV is charging? Thanks...
