The final cut of the 9th episode of the Tesla Motors Club Podcast, featuring Balazs Biro, of the prominent Hungarian EV channel Villanyautósok, is now available. You can watch it now on YouTube or listen to it on all major podcast networks.
I haven't seen this posted yet, but someone from our group in Charleston took a video of a new 8 stall V3 supercharger on I-95, exit 108. It's in the Stuckey's Texaco parking lot. It looks complete, but the cabinets are covered. I wish it was on the other side of the Santee supercharger, closer...
So someone in our local group just said that they see a supercharger almost completed on the Orangeburg exit on I-26 at the new Spinx. Anyone seen it? It's not on supercharge.info at all, so this was definitely sneaky if it's real. I'm assuming this is the Spinx they're talking about - 3615 St...
She will. I tell people in all seriousness to budget for a 2nd one. My first MX became my wife's after less than 6 months. My neighbors down the street bought a MX and now have 2 MY's instead. When they first ordered they laughed when I told them that they would end up with 2.
Great news that the Columbia area hasn't been forgotten as the other station seems to be overwhelmed more often lately. I'll give the obligatory 'we still need several more superchargers on I-26' statement and move on. Thanks for finding this and posting it.
Agree with Jeremy that it is more of a retirement town compared to other beach areas in SC. Not an issue, just an older crowd and feel. There's still plenty to do with families. It is definitely packed during the summer so you'll need to plan for the traffic. My parents have a place in HHI where...
I would if I knew where it was. That's a big spot with a handful of places where they could be putting it. I'm not planning to drive by there soon (that's almost 2 hrs away from me).
I-26 itself is a wasteland. See the image below that I've sent to Tesla in the past showing the issue. Supposedly the new St George location is going to be 'near' I-26. It's not showing up on supercharge.info yet, but I've heard that it should be 'in/near' permitting.

Is this location still up and running? My dad stopped by last week and said that it seemed like it was under construction and the worker there said that he couldn't charge. Not sure if he somehow went to the wrong place...
Great news. Now I can push it when heading back home to Mt P by hitting this stop for a short 'top off'. Not having any superchargers directly on I-26 makes this necessary.
Agree! We need the stupid law in SC changed so that Tesla can put a service center here.
From a Super Charger perspective, we just need some all along I26. That whole corridor is completely empty as you have to go to connecting roads (95, 77, 385) to get to one. Major issue if you're planning...
I haven't given that much thought yet as I have no idea when the new ones will show up. The value will partially depend on the mileage/shape on the tires at that time. I haven't researched around yet to see the going prices. Have you?
I just paid for AP/FSD for my HW2.5 MS and shortly thereafter I can see 'summon' as an option on the app. So it seems that it downloaded something. Maybe it downloaded EAP and the remaining FSD pieces will download later.
It seems to be just happening with the M3's right now for some reason. It doesn't seem to be HW2 vs HW2.5 dependent on the MS/MX. I have a HW2.0 MX with EAP and the FSD upgrade shows as $3K (should be $2K right?). My HW2.5 MS with no EAP or FSD is showing that I can upgrade to AP/FSD for $11K...
I have a referral award for the 21" arachnids, so when they come in to the Charlotte Service Center I'm wanting to sell my current wheels/tires so that I don't have to truck them back down to Charleston. I currently have the 19" grey wheels and the original tires have ~6K miles on them. I do...
Or I guess I could take a longer route getting up there and go up to the Rocky Mount SC and 'fill up' before heading over to Raleigh. If you can't tell already, this is my first road trip in my MX, and I'll have my dad and brother with me so I don't want to look to silly running around trying to...
I'm doing a 1 day round trip and can easily get to Raleigh, but without a place to charge while I'm in the game I need to find a quickcharge option somewhere to get me back down 95 to the Lumberton SC. I have a friend who has a CHAdeMO adapter that I'm going to borrow to bring up to see if that...
Any estimation from any of the construction guys as to when it will be operational? Heading up to Raleigh 11/4 for a football game and this would be really helpful.
