BTW guys found out from a Technician that my car was on Factory Firmware Island which he wasn't familiar with either. It kinda lines up with what we're experiencing. Quick we need to spell out "SEND NUDES" with our cars to get someone to free us

Picked up my car on 2/12 and still stuck on 2021.43.201 I have tried all the tricks to trigger it but no luck. Any tips? Maybe i've got another week to go since you picked yours up a week before me.

That does make sense but in Tesla's setup, the cable is already present. This info is from a Tesla Technician whose seen and compared the wiring. Tesla's goal for the S had also been to not change too much on the body of the S and X. Their focus was on the interior. This was why I wondered if...

The point i was trying to make was that the headlights don't seem to be different from the current headlights. This wouldn't even be considered a retrofit and more of a replacement. That's all i was trying to say. @glide on the other hand just seems adamant that nothing of that sort would ever...

LOL where the hell is your source on all your negativity? you seem to respond like you work on the inside. If you can't give a source for knowing why tesla won't allow retrofits, i suggest you shove it. They've already done a few retrofit for cars that had the space for a specific hardware sold...

With the Headlights being a part of their original plan i am definitely sure that there will be retrofits down the line at least for this part. I don't remember when but someone had said before that their source at Tesla said they were clearing inventory of the old Headlight before they start...

Interesting. I wonder if they have completely cleared stock of the old Headlights then. Mine may need to be replaced because of an issue with them staying on after car is off for a while (DRL stays on at a dimmed state).

Hoping this gets a proper fix. Hopefully software related fix

So I've already submitted a service request but wanted to know if anyone has encountered this issue at all. My DRLs are partially on after car is off. Posted it before but wanted to check. I'd say take a look to make sure this isn't happening to you also.
