    yes, all at home, even one of them has free super charging, why? because of convenience. Except California, public charging is also more expensive. some people live in apartment and do not have 120v/240v access, they will have to charge at public place. but they still need mobile connector...

    I remember when I bought my VW, one week later around 200 miles odometer, I found there was a nail in the tire (repairable), I visited dealer and we had no idea when it got nailed. so the dealer replaced it with a new tire.

    use scissor jack, with some wood stud as a safety backup. this is my setup, the hockey puck sits on the wood stud. cheap and sturdy . the scissor jack below is what I use. it can go to very low...

    does not matter, tier, tou 4-8, tou 5-9, tou-prime, they all end up same because SCE play the number for every plan. my average is $0.3-0.4/kwh. more expensive than public. so I sometime charge at shopping mall, lol

    that is will be the best but I doubt it is implemented. I only park inside garage at night. in daytime, I park on street next to house, no wifi, but it never locks the door since it think it is at home.

    DIY: Model Y Painted Calipers

    I just use a mini fan to blow the VHT paint dry. I am able to apply sticker within an hour. I do not recommend VHT paint though, the nozzle is very bad designed, paint is uneven and runs badly. I used to use Rust-Oleum high temp paint and I am happy with it.

    The Telsa manual ask you to plug in because Tesla wants to cover its phantom drain issue. keeping it plugged without charging make no sense to me.
