Good for you Bret. I've been facing this my whole life with anti Apple people playing the same game and tricks. It drives me absolutely crazy and I've lost friendships over it.
The gs4 doesn't do so well in drop tests as better built phones made of aluminum instead of plastic. Run it over, but just don't drop it.
