The Ampol/Chevron license agreement would mean every logo has to be changed pretty much by now. That's why the whole EG/Woolworths Petrol vs Ampol lawsuit happened. EG thought they would be free to keep using Caltex when Ampol tried to arrange the logo change.

I think that all stemmed from it being a Caltex site in the development application. Evie was working with Caltex on a couple of sites at the same time so people assumed it must be them.

Yep, it's the back wall of the Woolworths, on Google maps there are bushes there and no fence. The loading dock roof gives it away.

Just a followup from me on Frankston/Baxter. I did another drive around of Baxter and there's no sign of the chargers anywhere. Even took a trip to the service centres and there is no sign of anything there. Someone want to send those TOCA detectives down here? :)

Just below the bottom of that shot is two freeway service centres that I still wouldn't rule out.

I’ve been there several times, didn’t see anything like a supercharger. I’m thinking it’s closer to Baxter now but with the restrictions haven’t been down there to look.

The thing that often gets newbies on the boat is that it turns around. you drive on one end and off the other. So you drive on thinking your on one side and get totally confused when you head down in the morning and go to the wrong side. I’ve seen it happen a ridiculous number of times.

Evie has been working with Caltex / Ampol. Doesn't mean they'll automatically go here though as EG is a separate company (formerly Woolworths Petrol) that just has a supply agreement with them.

Just a quick check. Someone has added a Supercharger to Openstreetmap in Lakes Entrance at the Central Hotel. I'm pretty sure it's only a destination charger but before I change it I thought i'd check if maybe a Supercharger could have popped up down there?

Is there any way to identify the person doing that? I was at that chemist warehouse the other day and no chargers.

If the site was sold and the new owner doesn't have an agreement with Telsa he can do what he likes with his site. It's on Tesla to either come to a rental agreement for the spots or pull them out. If Tesla already has a fixed lease on those spots then they need to enforce it. Either way...

Considering there is an Ausgrid depot and substation within 300 meters of the Ourimbah freeway interchange I'm sure they could run a lead there.

According to the Evie website's network page, a new site was supposed to open at the end of last week. I'm guessing Dandenong has been held up by the lockdown so was it Bella Vista?

I was there a week or so back, no sign of the chargers at Karingal. The shopping centre has grown a lot though, the new carpark and supermarket on top of it is looking far more complete.

I read something about when they did the initial tests before construction it was all good, but between then and commissioning a new building was built between the tower and the chargers. Therefore the signal is less than expected.

I'm starting to think you're right. I went past there too and it's changed to the same Probuild signage as the rest of the centre. Plus there's a fire hydrant in the spots now. Nowhere else there looks right either, even the new car parking opened has no signs of charging infrastructure...

Looks like Townsville did indeed open yesterday according to Plugshare. Interesting it's at a Puma site, rather than Caltex. Probably why they won't make as much of a fuss about it. Caltex/Ampol wouldn't be thrilled about that.
