When I called. They told me they will look at the log first to see if there is some hints and call me back. But they also have a service appointment scheduled in case I do need to bring it in. I suggested if you don't heard anything back in 24 hours, call again and ask for a service appointment.

What firmware have you updated ? Is it 17.11.10? I got the exactly same issue after I update from 17.11.3 to 17.11.10 last Sat. Called and scheduled an service appointment this Thursday. I highly suspect it is something wrong in the latest firmware.

Sure I can unlock the car via my phone, but I don't think I can drive it without the physical key fob once. I.e. I left my key behind and park the car, I no longer able to drive it again unless I retrieve the key fob from my significant other. :-)
