Perhaps do it on a command like the above Alexa/Ring or like the Tesla honk that saves the current video to file. Be nice to turn it on/off via a command of some sort. Don't have to have it on all the time like big brother is watching.

I didn't really pay attention to it. it happen as I was near the Tesla service area and just drove right in and they already knew of the issue and had the parts order prior to me getting there cause the car sent them an alert. they gave me a loaner as well.

Mine was a easy fix. Just had to wait for the part for 1 day. Pretty sure yours will be. Some oil pump just gone bad and the car reduce the power to not burn the motors.

I’m confused. These signs detection only works when autopilot is engaged. But you don’t want to engage it off freeway so why does it matter at this point?
