Do you regret paying for Full Self Driving?

FSD is not for today or for tomorrow, it's the future, and how much of a part of it do you want, EV's same way, I remember people saying that won't work, you will still need gas, can't go very far, cost to much, is FSD safer, maybe, maybe not, will it ever get to where we want it sure will and...

Service now blaming MCU failure on aftermarket stereo

Try to take it back to the place where you had the stereo work done, and see if they will stand behind there work, just because they have installed stereos on other Tesla, doesn't mean they didn't do this one wrong. Did the MCU work ok, before you had the aftermarket work done? I don't think...

I use AP a lot, yesterday it snowed here, AP didn't work, and had to do a 20mi drive, mostly Hwy, some city streets, and could not use my AP, to be honest I was a bit tried, If I had to do 200mi trip, I would be wore out. But using AP all the time like I do, may not be a good thing to get use to.

Do you regret paying for Full Self Driving?

do a test drive with FSD, see if Tesla will let you have a car over a weekend, try it out
  21. 7

Why is FSD not transferable to your next Tesla?

think like $300.00 month or more for FSD, best to buy it
  22. 7

Do you regret paying for Full Self Driving?

you will never see $100.00 month for FSD, more like $300.00 or more. it will be best to buy it

Do you regret paying for Full Self Driving?

I like FSD, at first NOA kinda got me scared, but like EAP you have to use it, either I get better or the car does, now no trouble at all with NOA, and smart summon it's a fun thing, glad I got FSD, I did get it on sale, and upgraded my car from MCU1, AP2, to MCU2, HW3, AP3, now even better.
  24. 7

Why is FSD not transferable to your next Tesla?

I think so also, Tesla going to make it better just to buy it, $3600.00 year, that's is just as bad as leasing a car.
  25. 7

Why is FSD not transferable to your next Tesla?

how much would you think that would cost each month, $150.00-$200.00 or more, not sure people would pay that much, on top of a car payment too. I'm not sure there are more Tesla's than computers for that market.
  26. 7

Why is FSD not transferable to your next Tesla?

Tesla did it right, just discount the cars like they did on the MS, so to sell more FSD, and sell it over and over again, makes more money
  27. 7

Would You Buy a Model S today?

get the MS, it's way better than any car out there.
  28. 7

Do you regret paying for Full Self Driving?

Venting - Model 3 should come with the lift pucks

when I was young, I had a '54 chevy, four door, dark brown, beige inside, 3 speed on the column, loved it, all it took to fix something was socket set, a few screwdrivers, and a hammer. But in todays world with cars how they are, not safe to do that. and for $31.00 tire rotation, can't waste...

  37. 7

Venting - Model 3 should come with the lift pucks

it maybe easy to do, but why go to discount tire place or do it yourself, Tesla does it for $31.00, why take any risk, for damage.
  38. 7

Venting - Model 3 should come with the lift pucks

your mostly right, I go to SC, for more than just tire rotation. that time I also need a new fob. If you can just do tire rotation when you need other work done. Have Tesla do the tire rotation, not a discount place.

Long Range Suspension is too hard!

wheel-tire too big change to 19", for FSD you got to use it, for a while, I was like that at first also, scared me, now I know it drives better than me, 95% of the the time, the other 5% is why you keep one hand on the wheel. I have a 2017 MS75 bought new, can't drive on the highway without FSD.
  45. 7

Auropilot randomly kicking me out w/msg: Autosteer Unavailable for rest of the trip.

when you see the warning, turn the scroll wheels a bit up and down, works for me, but keep one had on the wheel at all times
  46. 7

Temp tags expired, can't get new tags from Tesla

and again, you may get a tag, I would drive there
