Correct in your thinking. That was the initial idea of the Superchargers. The urban superchargers though (Which I assume would be in Philly) are designed more for folks living in apartment/condo buildings that don't necessarily have access to home charging.

And/or is Tesla looking at metrics that basically tells them Philly doesn't need it yet (Beyond those of us here talking about it.)

Yeh, that was when the "rumor" of the property management guy saying this was happening in the orange garage surfaced. Then it came out this isn't really the case. It needs to be deleted, IMHO.

I'm not as concerned on the general parking. MOST people aren't hanging out at Wawas for any length of time, so if an ICE parks there, I imagine they're not staying long.

I looked through several months of agendas and meeting minutes from the township for permits, etc. No mention of anything (yet.) So I don't think we'll see construction for awhile.

I went around the Wegman's and surrounding lots - nothing. That back lot was actually closed. Looks like it was paved (re-paved?) within the last day or two. I'd be surprised if they're going to rip that up now, would have waited. Then again, no one talks so. . . Did not get a chance to go...

I guess that lot's a possibility - just looks like a back lot behind Wegman's. Not sure if Tesla would go back there due to the distance to everything else, but I like it and certainly don't mind the walk! Much less chance of getting iced. I imagine it's mostly Wegman's employees that are...

I'll be by there Thursday and will do a drive-by. The area is MASSIVE though. LOTS and LOTS of traffic. Hopefully they put it as far away as possible from the stores. There is NO spot in that development that I see as not getting iced.

I'll be shocked if they don't put it in the mall, especially with the store in there. Rep told me (In 2015) that store in the KoP mall (Being right next to the Apple store) does the most "business" of any of their mall type locations.

Would be surprised if it were the Navy Yard; while close to 95 and 76, not the most convenient to get in and out of. Not to mention if there's a Flyers, Sixers, Phillies or Eagles game, you're NOT getting in and out of there. Or any concert.

I used to stay in that hotel every year for a Carlisle car event. Used to be THE place to be! That was probably around early 2000s. Slowly declined and last time I stayed there was maybe 2010? Was out there two years ago and drove through the site, at night. Bad idea - spooky!

Ahh, I don't know. If all goes smoothly with utilities and such (Which generally it seems most SCs have been lately, not that that really has any bearing), I think at least Aberdeen will be up by Labor Day. Looks like really good progress here. Heck, if the stars line up, could be up in a week!
