Dragy times for Plaid and LR

From his recent YT video I think it’s wrecked. His issues stem from making into a submarine lol

Dragy times for Plaid and LR

is there anymore weight you can take out? Possibly run without the rear hatch if they let you?

Yes he has. You need to run a FUCA and rear camber for sure.

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Ah. So these aren’t a real “endless” branded and backed product. Hard pass. I don’t support counterfeit products.

Pic of your Model 3.......RIGHT NOW! [model 3 pictures thread]

I told you so. You ABSOLUTELY NEED 3H with UAS or else’s you’re constantly trying to hit a psi that doesn’t exist in real life. Day and night difference between 3p and 3h

Vendor Official Signature Wheel Gallery | Fitment Q&A Thread

Yup. People don’t understand that you just can’t throw one set of wheels on a car and it look exactly like yours unless all the metrics of suspension is exactly the same. Here’s my aggressive poke fitment turned into a bagged flush fitment. Same exact wheels and tires as my previous post. Lots...

Big Brake front rotors for Model 3/Y retrofit using CTS-V calipers

ah. Ok then I misunderstood. I thought the initial batch was 5 and then afterwards it could be purchased afterwards directly from girodisc since they already did the CAD work. Oh wells no biggie.

Big Brake front rotors for Model 3/Y retrofit using CTS-V calipers

Have you sourced the dowels for caliper to spindle reduction yet? I don't think the term "timesert" is the correct term for this piece but I may be wrong. I most likely will purchase after seeing this installed.

    Lug Stud Replacements

If you’re cutting the Dorman I would measure the length relative to the oem, thread a lugnut on it first all the way, cut, and then take the lugnut off. This ensures the starter threads keeping their shape just in case they move during the cutting. Putting the lugnut on afterwards you have a...

Pic of your Model 3.......RIGHT NOW! [model 3 pictures thread]

There’s lots of wheels out there with lips. I know signature offers them in SV601 and sv602. I had the 601. You could go BBS but that’s more $$$

Pic of your Model 3.......RIGHT NOW! [model 3 pictures thread]

The nostalgia aspect for sure and resale value yes (if they aren’t curbed). Not hating on them at all just feel like there’s a better design to suit the car body style. The G025 from rays suits the car moreso but it’s not a classic jdm wheel. To each their own but every wheel gives off...

I agree with you. I really don’t see anything special about TEs even with the face 4 concavity it still looks pretty flat.

You should get burnt titanium hardware from titanium works. Will make the calipers pop more.

    Upper Control Arm Sealing DIY?

That’s an easy answer. Oem fuca is only $90 a piece and mine lasted 50k miles. I don’t need camber and I wrench on my own car so 🤷‍♂️. Save that extra $1k for something better. Also know that endlinks from Tesla…..a whopping $9 a piece. You’d be surprise on the cost of brand new oem Tesla parts.

    Should I use Unplugged Performance

Yes all their parts are quality and backed by a USA company so if there are any unforeseen issues they got you covered. I have a laundry list of their parts and I’ve had no regrets

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

About $400 is the going rate for titanium lugs. At least it’s not $900 like Raceseng. Pretty sweet looking though. https://raceseng.com/tnr-1-titanium-lug-nut-set-spitfire
  31. TwoK4drSi

    Upper Control Arm Sealing DIY?

The upper control arm is made of composite plastic and the ball joint is metal. The exposure of cracking and allowing water to come in from the top connection is where they’re sealing. I redid my suspension and went ahead and bought new ones and asked them to seal it while it was off the car...

    UAS vs air demand suspension

I highly recommend going 3h. I’m not trying to upsell you on it but I just switched from 3P to 3H and it’s night and day in terms of hitting your height. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

DIY Big Brake Kit with Brembo 6 piston Calipers

From my research width wise the Tesla brembo pad and ctsv is the same width but depth wise the ctsv is 10mm more

Big Brake front rotors for Model 3/Y retrofit using CTS-V calipers

Can y’all make a new thread in the driving dynamics group? I feel there’s good info here that could be useful to the forum that’s buried in the for sale thread. Just a suggestion. Also if your install goes well I might want to upgrade too.
  36. TwoK4drSi

DIY Big Brake Kit with Brembo 6 piston Calipers

I agree with @superflyrolla that there is somewhat of a side upgrade topic that isn’t the oem PUP brake included in this thread that could be beneficial in its own thread. Can @jjrandorin sort through and separate the posts to make this one 100% oem tesla brake upgrade versus the CTS-V version...

DIY Big Brake Kit with Brembo 6 piston Calipers

Did you get 5 people? I woulda jumped but I’m on the 365mm and spending another 2k for 5mm diameter and 2 pistons isn’t worth it to me RN bc I don’t track my car. It is a good options for those that haven’t upgraded yet. Subscribed through. Seeing UPPs 395mm in person is very hard to unsee.

DIY Big Brake Kit with Brembo 6 piston Calipers

It shouldn’t be that hard finding one but knowing oem size and the caliper you would just have to sort it unless someone has already found one at the auto parts store
  46. TwoK4drSi

DIY Big Brake Kit with Brembo 6 piston Calipers

The caliper “hole” is bigger than Tesla on where it mounts. You either have to drill the hole out so it’s bigger OR stick a reducer insert into the caliper to make the diameter smaller hence the oem bolt will slide snug through the insert. You don’t want the caliper loose while braking.
