You have to insist, and tell them you will reject delivery otherwise. They will tell you that they can't open the car, but of course they can. I made several trips, met with SA, helping with multiple friend's deliveries, to grease the skids. Made delivery appt when the store was not busy...

Yes... Biggest is you can't open the car and inspect the inside without accepting the car. Usually car is driven to you.

Yes, look halfway up the hatch.

Hard to tell from the pics, but looks like tailgate is riding high. Could be an easy fix by adjusting the three stops on each side.

I would consider rejecting the VIN.

Some pages back, Some one asked about quality issues on VIN 480+. Here is what I found so far on 479. TL;DW:. Damage under the car, seat and door gasket wrinkles, minor loose and misaligned interior bits.

Never assume equipment failures when carelessness is possible. Nothing on the refresh issues thread about suspension damage afaik.

If it gets pushed out, greater than zero chance there will be another price increase, and your car will be worth maybe 10k more than you paid for it. Maybe an increase in the value of your current vehicle as well.

You can check with a boroscope or by removing the Frunk trim and tub. However, adding coolant is prohibited by the owners manual. Would not put it past Tesla to invalidate a warranty claim should there be a leak somewhere.

This same car configured Today is now over 111k before tax. Price is what I paid for it, 105k. Will be sold cleaner than new, with all service issues addressed. Why wait 6+ months just to get a reject?

30 day hold is std now. The only thing consistent about this process is it is not consistent.

By rejecting a VIN, you have no control over when they may issue another VIN. With a hold, you have a set time. How likely do you think it is that after you reject a VIN, the first available VIN from a Friday or Monday build gets assigned to you? EoQ basically is now. Are you willing to take...

The latest info I have is that you can do a hold before your VIN up to 30 days. After a VIN, you can delay pick up by three days. You can only reject a VIN twice. If you do a hold you loose one reject opportunity.
