Its not setting it anywhere near 100% or 0%. Watch the dragtimes video of the Model 3 where he compares all modes. Times are close no matter what, and there is no wheelspin in any setting. This is more about reducing power to one end to get balance as the car has lateral G’s.

They created a "winter" mode preset for the M3P, not sure why they wouldn't for the Plaid.

Those calipers are so short that I would suspect 410mm rotors would fit on 19s with those calipers. I think going with a caliper under 400mm is the wrong idea. They have made 410mm kits for the GTR and the 992 GT3 gets 410s as well.

You are comparing relative similar weight cars that have 1020 hp vs 562hp. The power to weight ratio of the Plaid is double the GTS. The speeds the Plaid can achieve are quite different. That is like comparing the rotors on a Corvette to a Miata.

I compared it to cars designed to go on a race track. The BMW i3 is 0.0844, which is higher than all of these and not a car I would want to compare it to. It has 184 hp and regen.

One more data point is the Rimac Rivera. It's essentially same weight as the Plaid, but has very aggressive Regen braking of 300 KW, not sure what the Plaid is, but that is 2.5x what a Model 3 Performance does. The Rimac comes with 390mm rotors all around. So to make better comparisons here...
