I used the fast charger today. It started to charge from 44%, and stopped at 49%. Seems like the the CHAdeMo adapter will start at an SOC less than 49% or so. Too bad it would not charge past that.

Today, I charged from 25% to 48%, using the CHAdeMo adaptor. It is a ChargePoint DC Fast charger. Peak output was 48 KW, then dropped to 40 KW after about 30%.

On my refreshed S, I could charge via the ChaDeMo when the SOC is low. Today, it worked when SOC wss 22% at start of charging. It stopped charging at 49%. Charge rate was 40 KW. Running 2022.8.

Are you able to charge at 50 KW up to 35% SOC? I have a 2022 MSLR, and we have DC Fast Chargers with ChaDeMo adapters at work, and they do not work on my car. I see communication errors. But I have more than 40% when I plug in.

Need to do the reset with the USB drive out.

Have you tried the scroll wheel reset?

Accuracy is the holy grail of Hi-Fi. A flat frequency response is essential to accuracy. It means the playback system is not adding errors.

Previous screen was with bass set +1 in the equalizer. This one is with all bands flat.

Just did a pink noise test in my 2022 MS LR. Latest Holiday Update installed. I used the Spectroid app, from Google Play store. Here is the screenshot. The response is exemplary. I suspect some people prefer a non-flat response. They want more bass or treble. That's good, but it may not be hi-fi.

Should be easy to debug. I told them the exact time it happened, and they could retrieve the logs from the car.

The problem with the navigation showing wrong position is very repeatible. I have seen this every time: in a covered garage, finish charging, drive off. Last time it put me near the Pacific coast in southern California. Takes about 10 mins to recover. Very bad software.

Tested it this morning. No difference whether it's on or off. Definitely early beta.

I ordered in mid-May, pre-price-hike, the MSLR. I turned down 2 VIN's, the earlier one at end of September. I don't think Tesla gives priority to post price-hike orders. Mine is the cheapest configuration, without FSD.

If you already installed the 14-50 or 6-50 outlet, it is very easy to add the Tesla Wall Charger. It is a DIY project. The advantage is charging at up to 48A. With the mobile connector, we only get 32A. Significant upgrade in speed.

There is a federal tax credit for that wall charger, so it only cost $35 more, plus tax.

My old S did that also. For some reason, charging in a parking structure triggers the bad position. But never several hundred miles away. One time it put me at a hotel, in the middle of the work day. The wife did not find it funny.

With DCU there is a $100 referral bonus for those receiving a referral. For the one giving out the referral, it is $50. Also you can qualify for membership by donating some money to one of the charities. Usually takes about 2+ hours to get them to return you call. Very busy place.

Under Vehicle, Additional Information, there is no mention of CHAdeMO adapter. That's the screen that shows us there are Permanent Magnet motors, right?

My new 2022 MSLR fails to charge, via the Tesla CHAdeMO adapter, at the Chargepoint DC fast chargers at my workplace. Other Tesla's charge fine. Does anyone have the same problem? Wonder if the adapter needs SW update, or it is a SW problem in the car. Running 2021.35.103.

For those in the EAP with the latest SW. ARNR is working, right? How well? Is there a difference at all?

Just found out that I can swipe down that window to close it. That's better. It requires 3 presses to open/close the garage door if that window is closed. Not as good as the UI in the older S.

I guess Is can reset the Homelink location to some other place, but this seems like a band-aid. Software version is 2021.35.103. Does anyone else have the same problem, on newer SW?

You're right. I have to slide the cup-holders all the way to the back to see them. They are pretty deep down. They are both USB-C's.

On the new S that I received a week ago, I can't find any USB port in the front console. I read the manual, and they are supposed to be at the rear wall of the front console. Does anyone have this problem, or did I just miss it?
