That is correct as you have a 3-phase inverter. The 3-phase inverter needs to "see" the grid (or a source like the PW2) on each phase in order to operate. In a blackout it only sees one phase (the PW2). With a single phase inverter connected to a PW2 during a blackout the inverter is "seeing"...

What sort of highway range are you getting out of your raven? My 2018 S 100D gets about 500km, so I'm interested to know just how much extra I could get if I pulled the trigger on a raven. 500 works, but an extra 100 would be even better

Check that all your cameras and sensors are clean. I've found in the past that when the car is dirty, or a camera or multiple sensors have insect remains on them I get the warning that autopilot is disabled. As soon as I go around and wipe all the cameras and sensors with a damp cloth it works...

My understanding is this won't work, as the PW2s would need to be talking to each other such that each phase is 120 degrees apart (required for appliances that use 3-phase power like ducted AC, which will be damaged if the phases aren't corrected synced). AFAIK this isn't possible with PW2s yet...

No mine is white and I only saw an X charging (apart from Coffs where there was a performance 3). Your 50kW rates probably about right for around 70% charge, as my rate had dropped to around that when I disconnected at 78%

I managed to get an initial charge rate of 127kW on my 2018 model S (battery was at 25%) this weekend at Heatherbrae (and I had 126kW at Port Macquarie on Friday night with initial charge at 32%). I have never achieved this charge rate before. Anyone else noticed a difference?

They definitely need a second service centre in Sydney given the large (and increasing) number of Model 3s now hitting the streets. I think by early 2020 the number of Tesla cars in Sydney will be double what it was 6 months ago.

That is amazing. I'm averaging 202Wh/km on a pre-Raven 100D with 15000km on the clock. Still get 500km+ of real world range, but that Raven is sure looking attractive.

That's your problem, not Tesla's. The delivery date when ordering says "Est. delivery: month". It never said we guarantee you will have your car on 1 August. This thread has turned into a pack of toddlers crying in the sandpit because someone else got to play with the car first, then screaming...

So I'll just sum up the responses to my post: "Fantastic car, greatest I've ever owned, but delivery was crap, so I'm never buying one again and I don't recommend you do either". Love it. Oh well, good luck with your future car purchases and service from the "established" car manufacturers.
