My first scratch on the MYP, what are my best options. Can I try something available locally via ordering touch up paint online? Or should I try a scratch remover?

Without scratching the paint at all? How clean does it come out though vs a wet bug sponge and soap and water lets say?

Are you saying after the 5 minutes that I should use a spray detailer again and then wipe it down?? Would something like Meguiar’s Quick Wax work?

Short of adding PPF to the front dumper what else has worked for everyone to make it “easier” for bugs NOT to stick to the bumper itself. I have read some owners swear by using a Ceramic spray wax? They claimed that only 10% of bugs will stick to the bumper if you use something like Meguiars...

I agree here. I’m mainly after double the charging especially during winter when my range is significantly impacted.

But if I am leaning towards the 6-50 the wall connector is just overkill. Is there a tax rebate still on it?

I agree, but the panel upgrade is way too much for me to even worry about. I’m ok with the 40amp as I normally use free PlugShare chargers nearby as well. Technically the 6-20 is even ok as When I wake up it’s fully charged unless it’s 20% or less.

Panel upgrade is $4,500 so not really. That’s what I’m sticking to a 40amp.

We plan on selling in 3-4 years so honestly we would not need more than what the 6-50 can offer. The next step for us would have to be to upgrade the panel to get more anyway so I am not looking to do that.

I’m planning on upgrading my 6-20 Nema to get double the charging. I don’t have an RV or anything so the adapter would stay plugged in the mobile connector 24/7. A 6-50 will save me some cost in wire and I really don’t need the neutral for this kind of load. Thoughts?

Wow so a lot of people including myself all thought the MYP would be cranked out of Austin with 4680. Like I said I’m glad I didn’t wait!

I thought about going with DCU but the issue is I don’t feel like setting up a second direct deposit from my employer when I already have one at my existing bank.

Well in that case I’m glad I got my MYP when I did because a lot of people were waiting to get their MYP thinking it will have the new 4680 coming out of Austin.

I typically do a Nitrogen conversion for all my vehicles at Costco. I think it’s worth it. Plus it’s only $10 for all 4 tires.

Not me. There’s absolutely no reason I need to go faster than 3.3-3.5 seconds 0-60 bro lol. Plus I average 100-200 miles a week. More then enough. Fremont Quality control is great. GigaTexas Crossing your fingers that quality control is great. Yeah….I’m cool with what I did. Trust me.

What does everyone plan on putting on for the rear flaps? The ones from Amazon have horrible clips with separate screws and they literally have to be ripped off when the flaps need to be removed.

I thought the same, but since GigaTexas has just started building vehicles I am MUCH more comfortable taking a MYP out of Fremont. We all know how long it took Fremont to get their quality control up to par.

Do you plan on doing a nitrogen conversion?

Handles great. Maybe slightly stiffer, but hardly noticeable in my opinion. I may switch to 19’s during the wintertime with winter tires, but I have to see where I can go look for tire and wheel size recommendations. More than likely I’ll have it done at Costco.

What clips did you use? Are you aware that the included clips with the separate screw need to be broken off in order to be removed?

I have an EDD of 3/9-3/15 and I have a VIN as of yesterday, but the app doesn’t say my vehicle is being built yet?
