Actually I thought that when Hay first appeared.. but now, I think Narrandera is less likely. I took another look at the distances... consider that even the Model Y RWD will easily be able to do 300 km on the highway... I'm thinking they'll go for Wagga instead. Sydney-Yass - 280 km...

Yeah I noticed that! I think the language has gradually changed, comparing Yass, to Hay, to Griffith. The NSW Govt funding is an interesting one though. Most charging grant funds require Chademo at the very minimum?

Also a funny side note, it was only about 3-4 hours ago when I was hunting through the Narrandera council meetings and public notices, looking for any evidence of supercharger proposals. I was only off by 80 km! Too many councils!

Looks like Tesla is planning one in Griffith - 6 stalls! Spotted by @MarcoRP - Site is currently being negotiated with council - Tesla prefers one location but council agenda recommends support of one of the other alternatives, which is the Visitor Information Centre - probably a good sign as...

The "Coorparoo supercharger" isn't a Coorparoo site - it's a generic "Brisbane South" marker. They often appear on the map before Tesla knows exactly where they're going to end up. It could be anywhere in the general area (including this location).

I think Evie is winning a lot more grants. As to why, I'm not sure - Chargefox had an established history of building charging stations, Evie had zero experience at the time of getting their first grant and even today they haven't built more than about 5 sites outside of the funding rounds...

That entire page is a bit confusing! There are some double ups, and some new locations... but there are with the DCAV grant recipients as well. From my reading, it looks like this is what's happening: DCAV funding was granted for the following 9 locations: Bairnsdale (Evie) Bruthen (Evie)...

Wow. Hadn't really clicked that the distribution of Evie's 350 kW sites had been so skewed against Sydney. We've got so many in Tas that I've driven past more 350 kW chargers than I've used!

Yeah, I don't know why the "Tip Charger" network never took off! BioFil is a possibility, it's only really the one at Caiguna so far, and it's quite possible the additionally 4 Nullarbor locations on the WA Electric Highway plan will negate the need for any more.

Just looking at those plans! Going by @QBN_PC's comments, it seems they've upped their intentions, since the plans only show 2 EV spaces per side: Nice of them to care about our car doors getting dinged but not really sure of the need for a empty space with bollard in between... Curiously...

Inverell as well as Casino confirmed. Both are listed as 1 stall sites which conflicts with the council info above, but perhaps they're just marking the locations for now:

For the Shanghai built Model Ys, it will be the same as the Shanghai built Model 3s - RWD has LFP batteries, others have the previous NCA/NMC chemistry. Austin built ones may have something different (with their move to 4680 form factor) but that won't affect us, not yet anyway!

I reckon it's like Tesla, where the in-car map, website map, etc. are all updated at different times. ABRP probably pulls from a back-end feed which doesn't necessarily align with what their app says.

2022.16.1.1 installed, looks like the renders of other cars in the Autopilot display has improved. Just generally cleaner/smoother. (Not a documented change)

I always though it is odd that Benalla and Wangaratta, both generally large towns - continue to be dead zones for fast charging. Avenel/Euroa through to Albury/Wodonga/Barnawartha North. They'd be ideal so far as spacing goes but Evie prefers the off-highway service centre locations, instead...

Biggest gap - Avenel to Tarcutta. 330 km. Depends how lucky you feel...

Very minor update, Inverell council minutes (March 2022) confirmed they've agreed on a location, 51 Evans St (was 30 Sweaney St). Update: Appears it will be 2 stations here!
