Even 200 miles of actual range means charging every 150 miles on the road assuming that one keeps a 10% buffer at the bottom and charges to 80% to limit wait at fast chargers.

As EVs take over, the ICE supporting infrastructure will begin to slowly disappear and at some inflection point it will accelerate. It's some years away, but will happen.

Most likely 100% EV will never be achieved. That being said, it's a good way to Osborne ICE cars which is a good thing. The biggest issue is that until we see $25K EV, the goal is unachievable. Cheapest decent EV today is probably $40K and that won't for everyone.
