With angel investors like the founder of Deliveroo, and an ex-President of Tesla, what do they know about value propositions, right? Dave on the forums says 6 months and they be gone. Couple of promo codes and they be outta cash, common sense mate.

Be interested to hear if they are any good. Had Bridgestones on a 200hp car and they were diabolical. I know all the major marques moved away from them on performance cars.

If you're leasing then the funder is on the V5. For insurance purposes, it does not matter, so long as you tell them.

We have pool cars in the business which have CarPlay and I actually find it useful that it reads out Whatsapp messages whilst driving. Would be a useful feature in the Tesla. But admittedly it's kind of solving a problem that I never knew I had.... 🤣

They really don't want you to know... So much so, if you press the SC destination icon, for any location, the price pops up on screen. They do a terrible job at hiding it.

PCP and HP are both forms of purchase, which involve 100% FYA on the purchase price, and expensed running costs. The other way is contract hire or leasing, which involves all costs as expenses and no capital allowances.

Bonnet do actually solve an issue here and that's aggregation of various smaller third party networks into one app. And they're doing it at a time of a sort of network effect as mass adoption is upon us. It's a clever business - might not have much of a valuation in the end - but clever.

For company assets you record the purchase price (in this case the car attracts 100% FYA), and then the disposal price. You'd then be liable for CT on the disposal price received. If it was personally purchased and sold then no, no CGT due on personal car sale.

Ha indeed. All good advice. Although part of the deal with these other charging operators is probably bulk buying kWh at a reduced rate. For any charge point operator, it's a good deal to integrate with other apps as it increases CP utilisation and decreases payback period on the infrastructure.

Figs look good on first glance, I did spreadsheets for all of this when working out the various options, but also have a half decent accountant who highlighted some other marginal savings.

I just paid £14700 for 16 panels, 6.2kw system, across a South and a West roof, with a Powerwall 2 (13.5kwh).

It would be possible, but would likely be more expensive than just paying for the upgrade to your Andersen, and probably a lot less hassle.
