thoughts on Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus Elect for Model 3?

yeah I wonder if the noise benefits will go away after the "new" tire tread part wears away. Not as worried about tread since I'll just use warranty if it wears to 5/32 b/f 5 yrs I believe?

yep. They're cheap for a reason.... Good if you need low/no touch. Let's just say they were social distancing b/f Covid

Smelly stinky socks / mold in Model 3 AC

any of these mold resistant? If not I might just go w/ OEM. Mobile service is scheduled for next week. Do they do disinfect/ foam or just swap filters? If they don't is there a way to get the foam in my self from the vents or from the intake area?

Pirelli P Zero Tires Good / Bad?

stock 18. I just had the P Zero Elects installed and they don't 245 :(. Went w/ the +range and noise cancel.

Pirelli P Zero Tires Good / Bad?

    245 a bit taller, no?
  9. vickh

Pirelli P Zero Tires Good / Bad?

how would 245 's impact range and comfort? I don't care about performance as much either. Not sure if I can even do it w/ 18 wheels. I ended up with P Elects have been great so far (only about 3 days) . Quiet, good regen. they put in a reg. P Zero A/S in error, which I'll get switched out soon.

thoughts on Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus Elect for Model 3?

yes 3 of them are marked elect. though not super clear, and bad naming by Pirelli Q: is what should I ask for the inconvenience. Too bad DT can't send a ranger to replace :) Also I hope they have in stock ...

thoughts on Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus Elect for Model 3?

fair enough. I haven't noticed it on my other cars as much . Probably b/c I didn't baby them as much ;) Also just noticed one of the tires doesn't have the elect symbol on it. Looks like i'm going back, just not sure if I should use the same location :(

Smelly stinky socks / mold in Model 3 AC

We have the heat issue, but not the humidity in AZ. The car bakes plenty when I drive though, but I think you might be on to something if the AC not running in garage is the problem.. What was the Rav4 fix? (my other favorite CUV BTW!) I'm having ranger come on Fri. to replace filter. Do...

thoughts on Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus Elect for Model 3?

on a OT note, Anyone have rim rash type issues from install? Not sure if i'm just noticing it more b/c of the install products used. Haven't taken the car in a for a wash yet

thoughts on Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus Elect for Model 3?

Yes 50k miles warranty was huge for me. I know with the weight I'll end up using.. DT guy said Pirelli and Michelin were best in that they take the dealers word for the claim. Similar to AZ heat w/ 12 V battery and even dry rot for tires here. So i buy the best warranty. Bummer Michelin...

    "cushier" ride tires M3 RWD?

Ended up with the PZ Elects. Got the Michelin warranty claim approved too! They're super quiet relative to OEM MXM4 but I was down to 2/32
  19. vickh

thoughts on Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus Elect for Model 3?

more expensive than new MXM4s? they were ~$255 at DT MXM4s ~$300

thoughts on Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus Elect for Model 3?

Great points. Took advice here and got the Elects! Range is critical on the SR Mileage warranty is the same I believe and according to DT Pirelli and Michelin are best at honoring. Road noise seems great now (i did only have 2/32s remaining on Primacy )

    19" Pirelli Pzero Elect tires.

I guess i should count my blessings here in PHX heat for tires atleast . Any reviews that compare P Zero Elect vs these AS for noise, comfort. (I know range is 15% better) I'm also curious why so many P Zero thread hits are FS and in Model S only. Discount Tire | Tires and Wheels for Sale |...

    Tires Designed for EVs

looks like my decision is made the Elects are OOS at my store. (which one of you got them ;) ) Got a P Zero AS PM at $170 so that's a plus. Hope they don't affect range too much or give quiet, comfort as a trade at least. Wish TSLA offered a an air susp. option on the 3..

    Summer Tires

given OP's name and also the fact it's MYP and summer tires... Helped settle my debate to get summer tires in PHX (hot and hotter here only two seasons and 30 days of rain..)

    Summer Tires

Agree about TSLA CS. Pirelli P Zero AS or winter? I will test Michelin's tread warranty soon. They claim none since OEM

great there's also the XL factor? I guess as long as DT has the 94 version in stock and if they'll install? Guy on the phone said only the ones DT.com lists are safe. ..

    Tires Designed for EVs

so you replaced all 4 at 2-32?I'm close to that on rears. makes me feel a little better at 28K miles :) I guess I'll get TSLA's quote this Fri. Big difference b/t Pirelli P Zero AS Elect vs non elect? Range is imp. as a SR owner but not sure what % we're talking about?

    Tires Designed for EVs

wow... great mileage... most Highway? Great OTD price. surprised TSLA charges that much more, esp since their other service is so reasonable/not a profit center. or maybe DT is that good. Here's another national site, that some mom+pop places around here use. My concern is whether they see a...

yeah I get 5%-10 military discount too so not sure if I can stack. Plus get 2.5% back on my USAA card anyways. Anyone here know when the Michelin Defender tires will be released soon? 80k mile tires with pretty good levels of road noise. had them on my highlander

    Tires Designed for EVs

i'm hoping for Father's day. Also other issue is I'm @ 5 and 2-32 on front/rears. I'm debating waiting replacing them 2 at time so I don't have to wait for a sale. Rains are expected here in PHX next week so I'm on borrowed time on the rears. The consensus on this thread is Pirelli A/S...

    Tires Designed for EVs

i mean't b/t Michelin, Pirelli and Hankook tires. Quietest? I always bought Michelin due to great tread warranty, but the fact they won't honor it on the OEM means I'm going to look at the rest.
