Why did Tesla say they are now using 12V LFP in the new S and X? Along with “we should have been doing that long ago”... weird, they sure are dumb not understanding batteries as well as you do...

They are the S2, but I scored a set of the Bilstein adjustables for the Roadster so now it has those installed, the Nitrons are extra and I’ll sell them soon.

Wow! Ohmmu Racing wheels are installed, huge weight savings! Total over 30lbs of unsprung weight reduction, and that’s with 1” wider rear wheels, wider rear tires (same R888R) and wider fronts and tires... plus I think it looks really good too!

Had to modify brackets today to get the right fit, used the CNC mini-Mill in our shop: Had to shave off some material to get the right fitment, geometry is unique in the Roadster, of course. All in on the rear!

Yeah, pretty much! We will use this car to market for doing Roadsters and similar work on Model 3/S/X... not enough customers/vehicles with the Roadster alone. Can’t wait to get the rear brakes on tomorrow (w/ flush) and get the front bumper back on and take it for a spin!

Not OEM, place in Hong Kong makes them for Lotus Elise/Exige. I actually like the way the Elise/Exige hard tops don’t cover the carbon fiber roll bar cover more than I like the OEM Tesla one that does... we are considering importing them and selling here but probably not enough demand, tho...
