My 2017MS/MCU1/FSD acknowledges about 10% of the variable signs on I25. And then once it does it holds that speed for a mile and then switches back to mapped speeds. Useless.

The wall connector isn't his issue. It's the onboard charger. That warranty expires 4 years after purchase and they cost about $2300-3000 to replace. $500 if you DIY.

You can't use the port under the MCU. You have to connect to the CABLE that plugs into the AP computer. But, I'll tell you it's probably not worth trying. You can request status and a couple other things, but you can't reflash firmware or do anything worth all the trouble.

Could be a bad onboard charger or a bad electrical connection with your house wiring. If voltage drops too much, the charger senses that and then limits the amperage to keep the voltage around 235-245 (208v if you're charging at a commercial facility) Try a different L2 charger and report back...
