    Editing Peak Time period

I had edited and setup my own Peak Time and eliminated all Partial Peak as I did not like the way the app managed that. I was going to adjust it, but I no longer see that ability. I have not chosen my Rate Plan in the new app. If I go down that path, will it let me edit the Peak Time period?

    Understanding PGE/SVCE electricity bills/TrueUP

here's the odd part. The last B&W bill I got prior to getting the new ones was for 1 week of service: 3/21 to 3/28. This is kind of consistent with Pioneer telling me I was switched on 3/28. Now the recent B&W bills are: 3/28 to 4/20 which includes the true up summary 4/20 to 5/19 5/19 to...

    Understanding PGE/SVCE electricity bills/TrueUP

I can download the B&W bills now too and I finally got a new electric bill. I had not received an electric bill since 3/28 which is the day I was supposedly converted to Pioneer CCA. I called them in April to convert back. They said it would take a month because it had to happen at the end of...

Disappointing Power Generation, and I need help with analysis of pypowerwall output please!

totally agree. My 11.8 kW system is on a 7.6 kW inverter because I added on. So I'm still producing 70+ kWh with clipping in the summer

Disappointing Power Generation, and I need help with analysis of pypowerwall output please!

both yours and OP generation seem low to me. I have 11.8 kW system. Little over half face E, the rest W. I've been above 70 kWh every day this month except for days with clouds. The past 5 days have been 100+ and I'm still above 70 kWh. It was 101 yesterday and I produced 72 kWh. My best...

    Understanding PGE/SVCE electricity bills/TrueUP

disappeared for me yesterday. I've been checking everyday because I have not had an electric bill in over 2 months. Got switched to CCA on 3/28, but did not want the switch. Called to get switched back in April. No bill for electric service since 3/28. Have had 2 gas bills
  21. G

    Understanding PGE/SVCE electricity bills/TrueUP

this doesn't make sense to me. PCIA is paid by people who switch to a CCA because PG&E had to enter into generation contracts to cover their usage before they switched. Why would people who stay with PG&E pay this fee? Or are you saying that it is bundled in the PG&E generation rate?
  22. G

    Understanding PGE/SVCE electricity bills/TrueUP

why do you add PCIA to the PG&E rates? If you are a PG&E customer, why do you pay PCIA?
  23. G

    Understanding PGE/SVCE electricity bills/TrueUP

thanks, so the PCIA charge under the column PG&E in those rate comparisons is wrong - correct?
  24. G

    Understanding PGE/SVCE electricity bills/TrueUP

we went back and forth on that (in this thread?). If that is the case, then solar customers in a CCA would be at a big disadvantage
  25. G

    Understanding PGE/SVCE electricity bills/TrueUP

But the pdf shows PG&E customers paying the PCIA fee, not just the CCA customers. Thats part of the reason I'm thinking the rates are wrong
  26. G

    Understanding PGE/SVCE electricity bills/TrueUP

Here is the rate comparisons (only available on PG&E site), but I do not believe they are correct. First of all, they have to assume some usage pattern which is not described. Second, I did not think PG&E customers pay the PCIA fee. Aren't the CCA customers the only ones paying the PCIA fee...

    Understanding PGE/SVCE electricity bills/TrueUP

My true-up NEM is zero, but I'm a net consumer so there is no incentive to change. Further, I do not trust this CCA -- Pioneer and I don't think the business model for CCAs work in the long run. I'd rather try to clean up PG&E however impossible that task may be
  28. G

    Understanding PGE/SVCE electricity bills/TrueUP

got mine too. Why is it that we get a paper check instead of just a credit on our bill? Speaking of bills, I still have not received any electric bill for service after 3/28. That is the date I got converted to a CCA. In the meantime, I called to opt out. No bill, nothing. Should have had 2...

New Powerwall Advanced Options [Toggles for charging from and discharging to grid from powerwalls]

yes correct My first year was solar and no PWs. My NEM was ~$200. I added PWs and was fairly aggressive with the rate arbitrage setting my Reserve around 33%. I figured this may make me negative on NEM and it did at -$900. That was last year. So this year, I'm being more conservative with...

thanks for clarifying that I'm zero to negative NEM, but still a net consumer
  32. G

New Powerwall Advanced Options [Toggles for charging from and discharging to grid from powerwalls]

That's my point. IF I export to PG&E during peak I get credited for the entire amount (Generation plus distribution). So if I export same as I use, I'm zero NEM. If he exports same as he uses, he is losing the distribution fees in his total rates.
  33. G

New Powerwall Advanced Options [Toggles for charging from and discharging to grid from powerwalls]

Interesting, but don't you lose out on the distribution credits? Do I understand this correctly? Lets say Peak is $.40/kWh of which $.10 is generation. So if you use 10 kWh during peak, you get charged $4. ($3 to PG&E and $1 to PCE). If you export 10 kWh during peak, do you get credit of $4...

New Powerwall Advanced Options [Toggles for charging from and discharging to grid from powerwalls]

the full NEM credit, not just generation charges? If so, I stand by my original question.
  35. G

New Powerwall Advanced Options [Toggles for charging from and discharging to grid from powerwalls]

ok, got it. They only pay out on the generation potion. Makes more sense. Non-profits still pay Executive salaries and those can be set by the Board without making shareholders angry ;)
  36. G

New Powerwall Advanced Options [Toggles for charging from and discharging to grid from powerwalls]

How does the CCA stay in business with a lot of Solar customers if they write you a check for a >$100 balance? In my case (with PG&E), my NEM was -$900. They would pay me $900, but I have essentially paid them nothing?

New Powerwall Advanced Options [Toggles for charging from and discharging to grid from powerwalls]

For PG&E, you pay a minimum connection fee monthly that is applied against the NBCs on your true-up. In my case, my monthly fee is slightly less than $10/mo. My cumulative NBCs at true-up was $192. My Net NBC payment at true-up was $192 - $80 = $82. I don't get any 3 month reminder, but the...

over the weekend, I got upgraded to 22.9.1 When I open the app, it hangs up on trying to display the house and then closes about half of the time. It also changes the background on my Android phone to black. very odd
  40. G

New Powerwall Advanced Options [Toggles for charging from and discharging to grid from powerwalls]

I posted my true-up bills earlier in this thread. I pay a minimum fee each month that counts towards the NBCs at true-up. My cumulative NBCs were higher than the total of the minimum monthly fees I paid, so I owed more at true-up. My NEM was negative, but it does not count towards the NBCs
  41. G

New Powerwall Advanced Options [Toggles for charging from and discharging to grid from powerwalls]

If your NEM charges are less than zero, you still have to pay NBCs
  42. G

New Powerwall Advanced Options [Toggles for charging from and discharging to grid from powerwalls]

I think I know what they did now. My NBCs totaled $191.87. My minimum monthly charges already billed and paid were $121.54 so 191.87 minus 121.54 = 70.33. Then they add current month minimum charges of 9.86 and .15 tax to get $80.34 So the minimum charges offset some of the NBCs depending on...

I looked up my Blue Bill corresponding to the True Up. I paid the $80.34 amount. Somehow the NBCs went away, but what is the NEM Adjustment?
  45. G

New Powerwall Advanced Options [Toggles for charging from and discharging to grid from powerwalls]

There is a monthly minimum charge. You pay that every month. The NBCs go onto the Annual bill I have no idea what I actually paid on this true up
