I noticed on the way up, your car actually caught up to a slow moving minivan ahead (which was crossing the middle line on most turns). In fact at 20:45, another SUV ahead of you pulled out to give you way. :)
I was thinking FSD would be way slow and hesitant causing a huge backup.
Q: what is...
Thank you very much. I guess we can buy the adapter from Home Depot too, or is this something specific to Tesla? I do see a variety of adapters that Tesla sells in their website.
Thank you. The cable that came with the car says 120-240V 32 amps max, and it has 120 V plug.
Why can't this cable be used by simply replacing the 120V plug with a 220V plug and a corresponding 40 amp AC circuit and adapter on the wall? Where is the need to buy a new one for home charging?
I have had three people in my neighborhood who have picked up their Teslas in the last two weeks, come to me this past week and ask about how to get the charging setup done in their garage.
Tesla provides them with a charging cable that has a 120V plug. They also provide a J1772 adapter. So...
What?? You are making this up? No battery line is made in China and imported to US or Germany.
Try again, and you may get it right. And the issue is far less benign that what you make it out to be.
May be not right off of 121, but reasonably close. This place gets super busy during weekends. Too many shopping outlets and other small businesses around.
Agreed. 4680 is the only and the biggest of concerns. Nothing else is a existential threat. They need to achieve volume 4680 production and start realizing the gains. Otherwise we are not seeing CT or Semi.
4680 is the path for Tesla to print money.
Fraud to the core. Some sections of media and much of TSLAQ were fawning over him for sometime. This guy is the real fraud, they were all wishing Musk was.
.. or how much energy they use.
Which makes me wonder, perhaps we can use the same rocket fuel to generate power and feed into the grid? Is that an inefficient process? polluting?
.. of course, we digress from the topic...
Except on Twitter you can quiesce and turn off speech that doesn't interest you, within your little world. The chaos and vitriol will continue, but you can shield yourself from that and listen/participate in healthy conversations, if you choose to. No different from the real world. Something...
Assuming we all would be better off adjusting the angle (including non Tesla drivers), then don't you think asking the city to change it is a reasonable solution?
I have seen this happen (or a variation of this) in my MY - slowing down by a few miles (from 65 to 62 mph) just a few hundred feet before approaching an exit, and accelerating to the set speed the moment it crosses the exit and before the merge ahead. And this happens in a few empty freeways...
Spot on. I honestly don't care about a paint scratch under the bumper, or a 2mm panel misalignment somewhere. I just want the car to drive, give me good range and not get me stranded.
perhaps the reason why wind power was supplementing the grid very nicely yesterday

While I agree that click bait main stream media can make those mistakes, because their primary consumers are in general a bit IQ challenged, a Tesla centric website should not make those kind of fundamental mistakes.
..and they will be right. When the split happens, stock will instantly fall 66%. The reason they are even shorting in the first place, to win handsomely the day after the split. Don't underestimate the genius of TSLAQ
My recommendations:
- start with 100% charge from your garage.
-Don't hesitate to charge to 90% on each SC, if you can afford to wait for 10 more minutes.
- Driving at 75 mph and no headwind, you can drive 190 miles with around 50 miles left in the tank. Headwinds will reduce the buffer...
Can you post the link to that Video? I am guessing it is one of Whole Mars Blog videos. He has posted several really good ones. There was one from SF to LA with no disengagements except for SuperCharging.
Yes, SC requires human intervention.
Several questions come to my mind.. where is this telescope located. I clicked on that youtube link now and it shows me the exact picture you have there, but the planets can only seen in predawn. If so where is this located? somewhere in Asia? What is with the EST timezone shown there with a...
I am sure in about 20 or 25 years will hear a different kind of story. A small boy crossing the road to school will ask, “Dad, is that a gas car? cool ! “.
They way we look at steam engines.
Half of them are older stalls with 150 kW, and the other half to the right are newer ones with 250 kW.
I always choose the one of the rightmost 8 stalls. (if it is available)
This Ogan character along with a host of other TSLAQ & media scums, share 'facts' without context. The facts are intended to scare you, to show the sky is falling and the fraud is unravelling - only if you take those facts in complete isolation, fully missing the context.
The 'fact' that job...
If it is so cool to watch just the animation, imagine how cool will it be to see it in real action. The whole launch, Starlink dispensing, landing of booster, landing of Starship - all of them will be next level to Falcon Heavy launch & landing.
Share buyback is the best way of transferring hard earned cash from the company to short term speculators or worse shorts. Longs will not be the beneficiaries.
On the positive side though, I am guessing it reduces the free float and hence decreases volatility.. maybe. I am sure others can...
Media's agenda and modus operandi is very simple: egg the regulators, shame them, goad them so that they will come out and lash at Musk and cut him to size. They have tried everything : writing FUD, total lies, throwing shade that Musk's personal character, scaring people with exaggerated...
